![]() ![]() ![]() This was an outstanding story! I hope you return to finish it one day. |
![]() ![]() ![]() to say that this story is flawed is an understatement. While I get that the writer is a total novice, it seems that he/she didn't even bother to read the finished product, because if he/she did, then the numerous holes and mistakes, and frankly idiotic tidbits should have been remedied. This might seem hyper-critical of the story, but try reading it, and THEN try contradicting my comment. |
![]() ![]() ![]() plotholes, so many plotholes. It has literally been decades since the end of humanity in his world, and he hasn't familiarized himself with the book guide fully? Let's say his excuse was he found the book guide late and he prioritized learning the language, is it not rational to finish learning the language and finish familiarizing the book fully before uttering the spell to transport to said new world? |
![]() ![]() Like others have said I was expecting a humorous adventure with either major deviations or at least a change. But no, while I have enjoyed some interactions and Manny is a gem, the rest is a mess and Harry in this is someone I want to slap. Harry is a self important vain jackass. He assumes the elves are talking about him- Hmm maybe the presence of the ring is the evil they are talking about? Elrond sees more in him and gives him a free pass, he only asks for him to be responsible for his true self- I.e. get to know people so they can see him and not be fearful-Harry’s response? Let me avoid everyone, prank the elves, call them rude and disrespectful, and be offended because no one trusts me. Harry is thick to the point I wonder about his brain power. He is a complete stranger that tagged along with the hobbits, he hides his recovery to listen in, he runs and avoids everyone. Instead, Elrond might have expected Harry to smile and wave, look approachable and then people wouldn’t stare. But no, Harry seems to think everyone should be welcoming and friendly and accept him, but he’s so vain and butt hurt it’s turned in to the Harry show. Also, Arwen suddenly goes from, distrustful to outright glaring and not only is Harry offended when he has no right it’s unrealistic. And he got himself hurt. Where is the leader Harry? Why would Arwen who has been galloping from the Nazgûl stop and taunt them unless there was a REASON but no, stupid Harry assumes she’s useless, assumes he’s the hero again (which he hates apparently but he jumps in quick enough) and stands there in the way. |
![]() ![]() ![]() might be fun for Luna to rise up from a Lake offering Harry a magic sword |
![]() ![]() Nerfed Harry is trash lol same exact story as canon but it has Harry in it…. Garbage story |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really like this story. hopefully there will be more |
![]() ![]() ![]() the thing is Harry thinks he's being funny but really he's just being an asshole. |
![]() ![]() ![]() that review I mentioned in my (I think) first review was right. you are overdoing your...humor. it's okay once in a while but when it's the entire chapter it's annoying. anyway on to the next chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ... Harry literally saw it turn Frodo invisible. why is he such an idiot. he's as idiotic as possible can be. |
![]() ![]() ![]() lol a horse galloping is much faster than people running. the horse would either be in a trot or a canter but a canter would be too quick for the hobbits let alone going that fast for that long. it doesn't make sense for Harry to be hiding his magic to the extent. I mean I get it but they already know about magic and he knows that they're friends with the wizard. it just doesn't make sense. especially when he could have saved frodo if he had just used magic. it doesn't matter if he gets his will to fight if it happens too late. |
![]() ![]() ![]() creating a new life for himself has nothing to do with the knowledge that he purposely didn't bring with him. I like this story so far but that's a really dumb conclusion to make. not to mention he has no idea where he's going he has no idea if those books will have information that he needs. I just can't get behind this. and I would ignore the review from that other person. there's nothing about the summary or the story that would make it seem like it should be funny and light hearted. it's not like having the books with him is going to magically make him overpowered. he would have to read and learn the knowledge that is contained within those books. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah sorry but i expected more. There is very little Humor in the story as a whole, the pacing is pretty bad and the interaction with the characters is downright terrible. Not to mention that the power calling makes no sense. I expected a funny lighthearted Story but got a boring mess with a crummy backstory, Death Messing around and Interludes |
![]() ![]() ... only good thing about this book was the scene where harry released kreacher |
![]() ![]() ![]() ...I'm positive Gandalf has one of the elven rings at this point, and I doubt galadriel doesn't know it. |
