I've created this account just to post this. I first read this work in 2018, just a week before the last chapter came out. Since then, I have re-read this story fully at least four times. Now, after just finishing P5R, I decided to return here and finally honor this work. The TL;DR is in the second half.

I would like to begin by stating that this is the best Persona fanfiction ever written. And I don't mean it in an "omg this is the best thing ever" way, but in a "There is NOTHING that can even HOPE to come CLOSE to the quality of this work on the topic of the Persona/SMT series" way.

It's so good that I don't even know where to begin to describe how good it is. The entire world-building of Persona was, for the most part, seamlessly rewritten to accommodate the events of the Atlus multiverse (if you can call it that). Which is insane.

The changes allowed the plot to include such characters as the SMT3 MC, Devil Survivor MC, Catherine, Dante (featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series), etc., in the story. You would expect them to be just random cameos (I know I did), but the story treats them as real characters with their own motivations, goals, struggles, and fears. Not only them, but every character is fleshed out. For example, Strega now has their own motivations, connections, and opinions on things. They even have their own side story! The Velvet Room is an actual entity that pursues its own goals. The dialogues are amazing, and every single social link has something to offer. Honestly, after finishing this fanfiction, it was difficult to treat the original P3 seriously. (Though I still love it with all my heart, don't get me wrong)

Fights are fast, concise, and dynamic. Fighting alongside your Persona? Peak. Channeling elemental skills through your weapons? Peak. Partially or fully fusing with your Persona? Honestly, it sounds a bit cringe but is a PURE FUCKING KINO. This fanfiction has the best power-scaling I have ever seen. Those who are strong are terrifyingly powerful, and every step toward reaching them feels significant.
Here's an example of Minato fighting a veteran Persona user (who doesn't exist in the canon): "[Redacted] managed to dodge by shifting her entire stance to the right, allowing Minato's thrust to pass by her hips as she leaned to the side and reloaded her gun. Once she finished, instead of firing at Minato, she instead put the gun near her face and put her middle and index finger at the edges of her mouth, sticking her tongue out and licking the air before mouthing "Ouroboros."
Minato instinctively jumped backed away, barely managing to avoid a sudden surge of red energy that rose from the ground around [Redacted]. The golden green serpent spiraled upwards around her, devouring all in its path as Minato stopped at a relatively safe distance."
I MEAN, COME ON, YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT WASN'T COOL.

Now, TL;DR:
Pros:
•Amazing world-building, better than the original.
•Incredible characters, some are simply more fleshed out, and some are written from the ground up. All of them grow and change throughout the story.
•Fantastic dialogues. Most characters have their own ideals that are consistently challenged. Especially challenged are my boy Akihiko and my madlad Shinjiro.
•Awesome fight sequences.
•It's long. Really damn long. It's honestly fucked how long it is. 1,800,000 words. Jesus Christ. Do you know how long the entire Lord of the Rings series (including The Hobbit) is? 570,000 words. Yeah. And I absolutely love it.
•Includes a PQ side story with an even more fleshed-out Investigation Team. Before reading it, I never realized that Yosuke, just like Ken, had a vendetta in the OG P4.

Cons:
•My boy Minato Arisato, the MC. An incredibly hypocritical, disgusting and disturbing individual that accomplishes great things. At first glance, he feels like a shallow edgelord, but trust me, he's actually at least a sea deep psychopath. He's not like that for no reason, and after you learn about what was done to him and what he has done to others… his behavior will seem fairly understandable. To quote Akihiko: " One minute, he's the devil's advocate, the other, he's a patron saint." Akihiko said. "… But I guess you need both to get a complete picture." He is consistent and will grow on you at some point, but it's not weird to dislike him at the start (or even at the end, for that matter).
•SA trigger warning. One of the characters committed SA before the events of this story. It isn't glorified in any way, shape, or form, but many will find the inclusion of the subject distasteful.
•DarkFic. This story is far darker than the original. Characters can and probably will die. Some will have beautiful and profound deaths, while others will have undeserving and genuinely disgusting deaths. While writing this, I reread one of the worst ones, and it's so disturbing that it honestly killed my mood. PURE KINO.
•This fanfiction was written before P5, so don’t expect anything from the Phantom Thieves.

I haven’t written anything this long since high school, so I’m going to finish this the only way I know how: "This really is an amazing story, and I truly hope that you enjoy it as much as I did."

Akihiko's pride dying was literally peak writing, you really are a fanfiction prodigy. 1.8 million words and I still got 200 chapters to go.

This is interesting

Not letting us see the ending alongside the final progression of everyone's character arc has got to be the one of the cruelest thing man.

Say what you want about how questionable and over the top everything in this story can be sometimes. But personally, this is one of the most entertaining fic in the entire site. The sheer creativity and effort put into this is undeniable.

Having said that, the author robbing us the ending and thus the final chapter of the characters journey (honestly the best thing in the story) is like a kick to the dick.

Please tell me that Hitoshura gets his Pixie back.

Re-read this after doing so when I was younger and gotta say the story did not disappoint, this is some damn good writing. I gotta praise the fight scenes all the details in em let me get a clear image of what's going on! Yukari is best girl btw.

why does yukari get the hate, Junpei is only popular because of Minato. Junpei is in his shadow exactly what pissed him off in the actual game. He also does not care about women like at all and abuses his power to no end. He is a bastard and somehow whe yukari spells it out she gets the hate?

Frankly yukari is the only sane one who does not let herself be fooled. and besides yukari is a nice hardworking girl, for example worries about junpei during chidori arc, but you comletely misrepresent her. And everyone who shits on her without seeing the shit minato does have given up their sanity, just to hate on yukari.

If you look closely you see that yukari is right and has a point.

R!minato is a cool and badass protag and all but I draw the line at rape(which is saying something with the shit i read). Call me sensitive and a baby I don't care. it's not cool.

It broke my heart that this story has no ending. I remembered reading this everyday and having my mind blown, it's an amazing story with great plot, characters and humour.
