This is a fantastic story ruined by the most cringe version of Harry and Hermione I've ever read.

For whatever reason I have no memory of reading this before. As I am now in a similar situation as Harry, I can only hope little Ronniekins got his arsenal handed to him by both Molly and Arthur. Honestly, Dumbledore trying fixing the world's problems based off of what has got time traveler Hermione either pissed or happy is the kind of content I need. He's being smart about it, but if this were a crack fic with Dumbledore overanalysing her actions I imagine we'd see things like:

"Hmm. Hermione seems to be bothered by house elf servitude, so that probably means I should free all the elves and make sure they are payed competitive wages."

Or, "Hermione's conversation with Young Mr. Cormac McLagen has left her agitated, he's likely a future death eater. Constant vigilance as Moody oft says."
