What a lovely beginning to your story. That is exactly what grief is.

A friend on Facebook saw this recd on A Different Forest. The summary sounded very interesting, and I'm always looking for new vamp fics. This first chapter was certainly heartwrenching. I have never had children, let alone lost one, but the way you portrayed Bella's emotions went straight to my heart. It's hard enough, I'm sure, to have to deal with the loss of a child but to then lose a parent ... There are no words. Just tears.

Looking forward to how Bella will move forward and how Edward will become part of her recovery.

Wow, you really describe grief well. what a thing to say, describe grief well. I haven't lost a child, but my dad has been gone for 17 years now, and I still miss the hell out of him and want him back. anyway, it's apainful but beautiful start. You make me feel bella's pain. You make me care so much.
