In Warcraft I, Azeroth referred to the modern Kingdom of Stormwind.

In Warcraft II and III Azeroth referred to the subcontinent consisting of all land south of Khaz Modan.

It seems to be WoW that distinctly created the line that Azeroth exclusively referred to the entire planet, and that Stormwind was the name of the kingdom and its capital both. The naming jump has never been acknowledged (as far as I could find) outside of the non-canon RPG, so it should be assumed it is a simple naming retcon.

I hope you will still continue this, the story is interesting as said before and the way you're building it will change much. I especially looking forward to what sort of relationship Arthas and Vereesa would have, as there're not many stories that involve Vereesa so early on, if even.

A little problem is her description, Vereesa doesn't have either green eyes, or golden blond hair, she has silver white hair and blue eyes, what led her older sister Alleria to call her "Little Moon". The description would work, if it was Valeera Sanguinar, but she would still be a child, if even born yet, around that time, these two get often confused with each other, maybe because of there similar first names.

You do know that Azeroth is not a kingdom right? It's the planet? Varian isn't the King of Azeroth, he's the King of Stormwind?

There's one thing about your portrayal of Arthas that really sticks out as being off to me.

His blanket refusal to even try to learn magic. Like there's no way I could see a child his age blatantly turning down the chance to learn how to cast spells and have cool magic powers.

There's simply no way a child of 8 to 9 years old is going to have the personal experience or the self awareness of his own limits and personality to decide that learning magic "isn't for him" and just refusing to even try and then maybe later on find out as he goes that he doesn't like it. Sorry I just don't buy it.

It doesn't feel like an organic decision that came about naturally for the character and more like you as the author just don't want Arthas to have a magic build so you just made up his mind for him.

Anyways aside from that I really enjoyed this story and I really hope the timeline eventually makes it to Warcraft 3 even though I know that's a long ways off.

In chapter two I think you put Azeroth instead of Stormwind, as the name of the kingdom, Azeroth is the name of the planet itself and stormwind is the name of the kindom.
