| texan-muggle chapter 1 . 3/9/2015 If you're still playing around with this chapter, may I suggest expanding it out a bit in the areas you've already covered here? For example, you state *in passing* that Gryffindor is treating them both like crap. Expand it out...add dialogue, scenery, the works. Make it part of the story. There are a couple of other areas like that as well. Make this first chapter 2 or 3 chapters. |

| the dragon and the rose chapter 1 . 3/9/2015 In his own way, Dumbledore was every bit as dangerous to Harry (and anyone connected to him) as Voldemort himself. As for the Hogwarts houses that were supposed to be your school "family" and Gryffindor in particular, they certainly weren't loyal and that was very obvious with regard to Harry. They went right along with the prevailing rumors of the moment were, never mind that the track record of accuracy for said rumors frankly sucked. In short, so much for the best magical school in the world, it sure wasn't Hogwarts. At least, not a Hogwarts under Albus Dumbledore. |
