Your two story's about Sonya de mort are the most well written and addictive story's I've recently red with the exception of Black sky ( hp/khr x-over) Really if you ever retake to writing it I'd be delighted to be notified, if not you can still take pride in having written a masterpiece of a fanfic with a plot I'd be delighted to find in a book

it feels almost humble going back after catching up with part 2, to read about little baby Sonya when she was still new to this world. It really puts things into a new light, knowing what she will become.

I noticed at the end of this chapter you have several translations that are not in the actual chapter - I suspect stuff you removed after edits? Ex, maloletka is not used in chapter 1. Not a big deal; just thought I'd mention it.

Yes, I am indeed re-reading this story again and I just wanted to say how much I love this chapter and just how satisfying the whole thing was.

The whole car ride scene was excellent and I just loved the dynamic between Gedeon and his dad. Ahh, when Gedeon got hit by the rolled newspaper... just classic. I’m so happy you added that in there.

Also, I’m amazed that it’s only now Gedeon realises how much he’s scewed up in regards to how he treated Sonya. That whole conversation was just awesome. You’re such a talented writer that I could totally imagine the whole scene in my head.

I am reading this story for the third time and I still laugh when I get to the part where she winds up on the roof. I love this story and it's sequel. You're an awesome author and I absolutely love all the OCs you introduce and the backstory you give everyone.

"At least my language doesn't assign gender to inanimate objects and forces one to learn three different definite articles" - okay, that's probably the biggest faux pas in the story to me. Russian language actually does assign gender to inanimate objects and uses three different types of word endings depending on the gender and the declension of the noun. I'd say Russian is about as complex as Italian grammar-wise.

I've never heard 'Peredniki' being used to refer to brats in Russian. 'Malyshnya' is usually used to mean brats.

One slight correction: There were only a small number of years during which owning a business was possible in the Soviet Union. You can look it up on Wikipedia: wiki/Enterprises_in_the_Soviet_Union
So instead of the business owner's office, you would have a managing director's office (usually just called the Director's office as there was only one director for any one business).

So, this feels like an arbitrary chapter for me to give this review, but I just have to say that this is by and large the best SI- the best fanfic that I've ever read. Usually the mass usage of OCs tends to bother me in stories, yet you've managed to keep even the non-canon characters compelling. I genuinely love Sonya as a character and all her interactions just keep making me come back. I've been binging this whenever I've had the chance for the past week or so and I've loved it all throughout. So thank you, and now I'll carry on and attempt to catch up to where you are on Part 2 currently.
