This is fantastic! I loved Fallen Angels so much, so I'm delighted to see you revisit the dystopian setting and I think Joly is the perfect character to take us there this time. I also think it's perfect to have Combeferre be the other character in the story, just because, well, who else but Combeferre? The guide, always there with the needed dose of wisdom and encouragement. Anyway, very well done! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Oh I loved this, this was really beautiful and I wish it was longer. Your description of this whole scene is wonderful and had just the right amount of detail. I could easily picture this bit in my head. And of course, I always like when you write Joly and Combeferre. I believe their friendship is a special one with lots of silent understanding. Can't wait to read more from you!

This is beautiful. It's so visual, like an impressionist painting, the narrative is build with the scattered images you gathered here and it's just perfect. The way we experience Joly's memories as we read... and Combeferre's bit in the end... it's wonderufl, I'm almost crying! Please keep on writing! :)
