It's great, it truly is, it made me cry more than once and i got way too into it, like, damn it, why am i on the verge of crying for lil Albus being magic defficient ? I was fortunate enough to find this book a month a go i was so upset for days on end that it wasnt updated because it was so good i love the relationship you developed between harry and abby. The way you both brought up their traumas was exactly the fic ive been looking for. I couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw an update i thought rhis fic would never be updated but im so happy you did. I really do hope tou finish it this is on my top lost of harry fics thank you so much

19,000 words? That is a giant amount. Most authors would make 2 chapters out of that.

But it was quite the journey. All these emotions, you play that instrument masterfully. A real tearjerker this has become. But still in a good way.

If i feel anything is missing... even after all this time and now SEVERAL misunderstandings or failures to communicate they're not really talking things out. I'm not sure if that is intentional so you have some tiny openings for disagreements or if it's unintentional and you didn't even notice it... it just feels... like playing with fire.

And on the other side i would have expected Harry to mention Petunia and how the jealousy and rejection she felt over Lily having magic and herself not, as a big motivator for his conflicted emotions about Albus problems. That would have opened up another vulnerability of Harry's, his hurtful childhood, his anger at aunt and uncle over how they treated him and for what petty reasons and they could have used it to talk... pity that it passed unused. Just like my earlier suggestion in a review that Neville would have been a better advisor for Albus than Harry as this is something Harry has never really gone through... and can the magical world please get a shrink? They have TONS of unresolved mental ballast, it would be high time to talk through all that to find closure and leave the bad parts behind. Poor Abby cannot always play lightning rod for Harry's moods and despair ;)

Oh, it's so close to the end (Okay, when you write longer chapters than many authors bother to write for a whole story, that is still a lot to come ;)) i wouldn't have expected that... feels like the "proper" voyage as a couple has just begun...

Sorry I haven’t written nearly enough comments on your story. I found it I think about three years ago and only recently rediscovered it. I just wanted to say that this story never fails to make me laugh, cry, smile, and fall in love with Harry and Abby over and over again. The way you have captured the characters and breathed life into them truly speaks to your ability as an author. Thank you for not quitting and giving me the absolute pleasure of being able to continue getting to know your story. It’s been one of the most delightful reading experiences. I hope you’ve been able to experience half the love you so beautifully express in this because anybody who’s able to help others understand the pains and struggles us muggles experience in the realm of love and provide a balm like you’ve done for me, deserves to have the happiness they give to others. Keep sharing that joy please, in whatever method that comes in.

I'm mostly looking for very simple, straightforward, fast paced action comedy or rom-coms, this is much slower and much more sad than my typical fare, but I find myself continuing to read. Well done, thanks for writing.

I honestly wanted to like this story, but this is just bad. It's akin to sniffing a moldy egg casserole from the back of my fridge: a stupid waste of time for something rotten that belongs in the trash.

I loved it. The direction this chapter went came as a bit of a surprise, and I felt like the pace picked up a lot, but all of it was, as always, very well written. The way you characterise everyone, the way you write dialogue and also the way you handle less nice things about the wizarding world, like obliviation and the underlying racism against muggles and to a lesser extent muggleborns, is simply magnificent. The only thing I disliked about this chapter is that two rather intense fights (between Harry/Abby and Abby/Ryan) were so fast and easily solved.
I‘m looking forward to the storys conclusion - even if it takes another two years. Thanks for writing and sharing it. It is one of the best if not the best Harry Potter romance I‘ve read so far. And thank you for not abandoning it - I had my fears.
