Lovely story with a different take on their situations, was also interesting seeing Weiss be depicted as Russian rather than German, though maybe I haven’t read enough fanfics yet. But anyway I thought this was a nice and sweet story and I have to agree that they have been through enough already. Regards from the UK.

Heya, somehow this story suddenly popped back up in my head again, after many years of first reading it. Had to dig it up and read it again, and it stood the test of time really well! It was fun (and sad at times) to read about Ruby and Weiss again, them meeting, and slowly falling in love.
I thought I left reviews the last time I read and re-read (all the way back when this story was still updating, wow how time flies) but couldn't find them. So, I'm dropping by to say I still love it!

This story is exactly my favorite kind of whiterose AU. Some light angst for dramatic tension, but primarily romantic tension building up to extremely satisfying fluff. I loved the way you used Russian and your prose was particularly pleasing to peruse.
You did make me cry when you killed Penny, though.
Regardless, thank you for writing this and sharing it.

Great shorter story, very well written and gets the feels going a couple times. Feel bad for Penny but her part is used well and what happens feels real. Was not looking forward to the cop idea but it worked really well, definetly worth a read, especially for any Whiterose fans.
