Thanks so much for the update! Intreasting happenenings here lol, it got me thinking if this is supposed to be an AU? Or like it'll still develope eventually into Canon, like with regards to Riddle I mean? Like Amalia at her core seems to be a genuinely good person you know and her beliefs do clash rather crudly with Tom's, plus is she even intreasted in immortality? At the end of the day she has bigger more important things to deal with than Tom, you know? Sonim wondering how things will end with them. Best case scenario either they separate mutually while maintaining like a positive relationship to deal with their own goals, or she somehow dies (not by Riddles hand) and he actually mourns her in his own way and maybe somehow that is what ends up driving him over the edge and turning him into his old Voldy self or something? Idk I like Amalia too much to imagine the hurt and betrayal she'll face should he do her wrong someway lol

I keep re-reading this story: I think I just finished it for the fourth time. And I don't know why - I must be crazy - but when I decide to read it again, I keep thinking I'm not going to like it anymore... Or that I won't like it as much... that I will realise the characters are uninteresting... Or something.
And every time, you prove me wrong. This story proves me wrong. I'm swept away by the plot and I get super duper invested in the characters. Every time, it's a blast and everytime I finish reading with the highest praises on my tongue (which is why I don't understand why I would expect to not like it anymore).
This is truly a masterpiece. That's everything a fanfiction - or a novel - should be. There's everything I'm looking for and none of the things I dread. That's is mazing work! Congratulations!

It's been two years since this was last updated, but I still occasionally check back to see if there's been any updates, lol. I'm still holding on to some hope that there could be more coming! This story is so fantastic. Amalia is perhaps one of the best developed OC's I've seen in the fandom. Your narration, characterization, and attention to detail is flawless. I'd be so interested to see what your plan is (was?) for Amalia and Tom's future.

read this ENTIRE story on my day off from school and honestly I have NEVER been into Tom riddle stories... but while searching through the liked stories of stories I currently read, I stumbled upon this gem, and, it truly is a gem. it's absolutely enthralling. the entire time I wanted to see something more caring from Tom's character, but every chance that he could have, he was cold and indifferent in the exact way Tom Riddle would have been while still managing to show character development and a growing relationship with Amalia. absolutely phenomenal writing, character design, and story. it's a shame that you stopped updating, but thanks for sharing your work in the first place!
