That was very smoothly written, well done. I'm surprised that this story doesn't have more attention, because the level of skill you have in this story is rare for fanfiction. However, I think that can be easily fixed. :) First, I think you should change the names of the characters. The cartoon aspect of Disney's little mermaid adds just a bit to much hilarity to the story and can make the characters who want to take the romance seriously feel too awkward to continue reading. In this, also change up the mermaid's appearance and name on the card to help split the difference between the movie and story as well. You can do that while still having it remain a little mermaid and Yugioh crossover.

Once you do that, get to work on breaking up the story into chapters and uploading each chapter with a day or week inbetween each one. This will put your story on the top of the list for the default 'update' search and thus put your story in direct view of readers. With your new changes, the reader will be able to take the story seriously, because with how you've written it, it's a serious story, not a parody-which is what the subject matter calls for.

This was an amazing piece. Your writing is clean, and I'd never imagine a crossover of this sort. It makes me feel light and humored, you've blended the story well with everyone pretty much in character (not that I recall exactly how all of them behave). Thank you for writing this!
