Thorian ... damn that good

Dang it this is great and I was gripped the entire time but I’m so mad that you’re basically killing off three (I assume Hollanders basically about to unwittingly murder Angeal) out of five six main characters. But on the other hand if Angeal doesn’t die and follows Shepard to Jenova he might save them...? Don’t know what to expect now that you’ve HURLED THIS CURVE BALL at me. You had one job damnit, don’t murder the main character. Was it too much for you to handle? Clearly yes.

...that makes waaay too much fscking sense. All Jenova/Thorian does is consume. It doesn't sustain a diverse ecosystem, it just assimilates and controls. No wonder the Cetra freaked out when it showed up! Like rabbits in Australia writ large.

No, Shepard. A true tragedy is when the Prisoner dies, and the Hero falls, and all that's left is a broken husk of a man forever Wandering, fighting for a cause long forgotten until even that is gone. You should have known, Shepard.

Well, that last chapter sure is something.

Genesis and Hollander messing with Reaper tech (which is a great idea... if becoming Indoctrinated sounds like a great idea to you) while Jenova is not only out to play but, crossover-wise, revealed to be a surviving member of a species almost as terrifying as the Reapers and Leviathans themselves.

Shepard got her work cut out for her, doesn't she?

Also, I (and most of your readers, hopefully) understand about the delays. Some parts can be harder to write, even if short, even if you know what you want to write. If writing was easy, more authors would finish their stories.

Thanks for the update. Great chapter. I knew Genesis had gone behind Shepards back like that. I mean I had hoped she's talked some sense into him, but it is clear that at this stage of the game sense had all back fled. No good can come from this... Reaper tech is bad enough, but in the hands of Hollander...
I remember reading your Champions and Heroes DA/FF7 fic and seeing you tie Jenovah into DA background, and had a feeling you were going to do the same here. I must admit I didn't see the Thorian coming 'though. I will admit I was kinda hoping for something unknown, just to see Shepard have to figure it out, like in the MA game. But it'll be interesting to see where you take this.
Looking forward to more.

I CALLED IT! I /KNEW/ THAT HOLLANDER SCANNED SHEPARD! Slimy little man. I hope Genesis won't be turned into a Robotic abomination, but that may be asking too much for Hollander.

Wow, a Thorian? Huh. I was expecting to find out that Jenova was part reaper, but a Thorian took me by surprise. You did foreshadow it, though. So that's on me.

I have no idea how Shepard and Sephiroth will come out of this situation alive, but I'm looking forward to finding out if they do, and how!

So, Hollander is going to screw with Reaper-derived code. I can already hear the screaming.

And Sephiroth is part-Thorian. Can't say I saw that one coming, but it JenovaThorian does makes sense in this ME/FF7 fusion universe, now that I think about it.

Well at least she knows what it is and how it can be defeated. Though I have a feeling that when she wakes up again she's going to be in so much pain and pissed off as well.

And with Hollander recopying Shepard skeleton (I guess if that's what you can call it) he is no doubt going to cause some type of second war.

...Thorians are now a bit more dangerous than I originally thought. Or maybe it's just an odd recation to mako, like how biotics can form from eezo exposure without actually having any genetics to back it up.
