Mr. 16384 chapter 64 . 10/26/2020
This was great. I liked how you blended the two worlds and I liked how you presented the characters.
There's a bunch of little things that seemed really cool, like how you handled what Jenova was, or Shepard's thoughts on LOVELESS, the location of the planet, etc.
I think the actual sequencing of events (and how it ended) kinda tended to come out of left field sometimes, but that's probably the worst thing I have to say.
It's a really cool story and I loved it.

Wow so much better than I expected. The seamless way you were able to weave the two fandoms together was excellent.
Well done

You really do have a unique imagintive mind, I'm not good with English so I'll be brief.
This story is one of the best I've read on this website, your writing style elevated it to a whole new level. Thank you for making this.

As a critic, it is part of my nature to assess and categorise many different pieces of text, articles and stories into a category. Then give it a rating and move on.

In that time I find myself with few occasions where I am left satisfied, let alone loving the book. I am so, so proud and happy that this falls into the satisfied and loved category.

The writing is detailed, every scene can be envisioned perfectly, every fight is well thought out and the plot points subvert the predictions of anyone I know.

This crossover, this idea, had me hooked from the moment I saw the franchise's involved. I had high hopes, and I have been supplied with a feeling I never thought I'd experience after reading this work of art. Pure joy.

I couldn't recommend this enough. And as much as I wish there were a sequel, and I do wish there was one. I would be satisfied with this.

This book is a unique and gifted child and I raise a glass of champagne to the author. Many thanks for sharing this story. Come the time I am allowed in my workshop again, I may have to add this to my hardcopy collection after getting some ivory, leather and other materials. It'll be worth every penny.

9.5/10. Have a wonderful time, and thank you all so, so much for this experience.

Excellent work. Bravo!
GhostKing666 chapter 37 . 11/29/2019
As much as I like this fic, there's a scene in this chapter I can only shake my head at.

First off, the Citadel Alliance is not a unified government. The CA, is basically the UN/EU and NATO in space. All members are fully independent of each other, with things like the Citadel Conventions and Treaty of Farixen essentially being international agreements.

Second, the Citadel Council is basically the UN Security Council in space, with pretty much the exact same job. But that doesn't mean the Councilors have any actual authority over their respective governments anymore then the guy who fills the US's seat in the UN Security Council has with the US government.

And finally third, the idea that the Systems Alliance could take the Turians is laughable. Yeah the Codex says something like that, but the Codex from an in-universe perspective is written by the Systems Alliance so you have occasionally you have bit's of blatant propaganda like that. Humanity numbers in the low double digit billions, with a few dozen planets to their name, the rest of the Citadel races combined number in the trillions, with the bigger races having thousands of planets to them.

Of the four Council Races humanity is the weakest, with the smallest military, smallest population and an economy that has of ME1 barely below the Elcor's and isn't anywhere close to the Turians(who have the weakest economy of the "Big Three", hence why they agreed to take the Volus as a client race), never mind the Asari(who have the biggest and richest economy in Citadel space). Heck even the Systems Alliance technology is usually less advanced then what the other races have, only being in spitting distance of the rest of the galaxy because the Mars Beacon was a "How to Interstellar Civilization for Dummies" guide book, letting them skip the thousands of years it took everyone else to reach the galaxy's current state-of-the-art.

The only reason they have a Council seat is because they lobbied for it insistently, the events of ME1, and because they technically have the fourth largest military in Citadel space(like UN Security Council on which the Citadel Council is based on, the primary requirement for a seat is military power, the Drell have a population of only a few hundred thousand and work for the Hanar, who have a small military and small, isolationist economy. The Elcor also have a similarly small military with an isolationist economy only slightly larger then the Systems Alliance. And as for the Volus, well that's what's funding the Turian military is for.) and even then the Systems Alliance military isn't large enough to protect their own territory from pirates and slavers much less contribute to the Citadel Fleet(which is closer to NATO then UN peacekeepers, and part of the job responsibilities of a Council Seat is supplying forces to it, which the SA fail to do).

The Turians are the most powerful military in Citadel space, they would curbstomp the Systems Alliance. It really wouldn't even be a fight.

Found this story three days ago. Just finished powering through it, could not put down the story for more time than it took to sleep. This is legitimately one of the best war-time dramas I have ever read, all of the character work is spot-on, and everything just made me wish it wouldn't end.

If you don't already do so, you should consider this as a career. I would pay non-trivial amounts of money for writing this good.
