![]() ![]() ![]() "Choose again" Ohhhh dayum. Those two words sent chills down my spine. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I laughed at the monthly culling of the Sand people. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Qui-Gons death was probably a mistake. Mauling would have made more sense as it would allow for more growth for Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan does not come out looking great here. He is obstinate and blind to the truth. Qui-Gon was an interesting character, he is one of your best characters. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sad times, I liked Qui-Gon, he made Vaders territory funtional. |
![]() ![]() ![]() How dare you kill the Furlings! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Can't Sith be redeemed? It's not common but people turn from the Dark Side occasionally, and end up on the light or find a balance. Vader has no motivation for pursuing it, but it is possible. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Maul is good, its a shame that you won't spend much time on him. I wouldn't mind a long epic considering the quality. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't mind authors taking liberties with the mechanics of a world as long as it is internally consistent which your explanation seems to be. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The downside to a well written story is that any length is too short. I'm just at chapter 7 but I'm already lamenting the inevitable end of this story :'( |
![]() ![]() ![]() One of the cheesiest lines in SW and you've managed to use it so beautifully I felt like crying. |
![]() ![]() ![]() In Knights of the Old Republic 2 (considered by many to be the very best piece of media in Star Wars, including myself), the Jedi Exile had the Force stripped from her by the Jedi Council. In learning to live without the Force, she became very capable mentally and physically to make up for her loss; forming bonds with comrades forged through empathy without having to fear the Dark Side. These bonds would slowly feed her ability to use the Force, restoring her sensitivity as she fed that power back into her comrades in a feedback loop of Force potential and self-improvement. No longer was the exile bound to the Force's will and her lack of fear in giving up the Force when it no longer served her interests caught the eye of possibly the wisest Force user of all time: Kreia aka Darth Traya whom found the exile to be truly beautiful. The Exile was powerful and strong, yet able to walk away from power and strength not her own. Something no Jedi or Sith was capable of doing and a trait gained by her own strength of will instead of some Force technique whereas even the Jedi Council of the time preferred to die than live a life without the Force, the Fate they had sentenced the Exile to without a 2nd thought. Like Vader, Kreia would've murdered the galaxy to preserve the Exile. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just want to see it's been a pleasure to observe as you visibly improved from the first chapter to this one. Initially, the story was promising and now it has fulfilled that promise. The circle is now complete. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Remember the Grand Plan was never created by Sidious, but by Darth Bane, designed and directed by the Sith'ari's red right hand. Well, 3rd Sith'ari. 1rst being King Adas, 2nd being Darth Vitiate/Emperor Valkorian, and 4rth being Darth Vader...that last is dependent on which continuity so it's debatable. The requirements being a Sith of perfect power, perfect will, and perfect destiny whom will destroy the Sith then rebuild them greater than they were before; the ending and beginning of a new era of growth for the Sith. Many tried to claim the title, but those that were actually Sith'ari never tried to do so, merely walking their own paths and fulfilling the prophecy one way or another with those that came after them unable to deny what they were by virtue of overwhelming evidence. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Zabrak's live nearly twice as long as humans. Togruta are similar, so the age difference isn't as big of a deal. They are both from fierce, hunter-gatherer societies, too. Highly instinctual. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amusingly, Maul respects Ahsoka immensely. After she was expelled from the Order, Maul constantly referred to her as "Lady Tano" so I kinda like their relationship here. He only ever referred to Kenobi as "the Bastard". |
