Holy fuck this story is a shell of what it was... good god what a wholly unnecessary and downright asinine series of confrontations.

Man you lost me with this story... ever since Lockdown the appeal has completely faded. This tale was never overly complex. A clear cut “Vader fucks shit up while keeping his family safe”. Now? Now it’s just bizarre and needlessly dramatic

Did Vader not at least fix some of the major design flaws with the ships? Poorly located bridge, concentrated shield generators, limited hangar launch ability, no point defense guns, that sort of thing on Star Destroyers? Ships that, while cheap, simply don't protect the massive investment of training pilots, in the case of fighters?

Seems like it'd make much more sense and pass easier if Vader claimed Shmi as a sister, rather than saying he was his own son, but... eh?

ah yes, the reveal before qui gon and you're keeping him alive? Super cool. I would review every chapter, but this is 5 years old now and reviewing isn't necessary, only needed to vent when I finally can't contain how awesome this is!

I've read alot of fan fiction. Anime based, tv shows, movies, tons of star wars stuff. This was probably the first time I felt a flood satisfaction reading the story. It's not a self satisfied, that's how I would write it, but a 'hell yeah bout time Anakin acted like a true lord of the sith'! See already got me buying into the characters and story. And I have many more chapters to go. This will definitely be worth a second or third read. Thanks for posting.

Oh, love your Vader - he is so deliciously and unashamedly dark.

This is such an original idea and very funny to boot! I am only into chapter two, but so far it‘s greatly entertaining. Love this version of Vader who is not exactly evil, but far from a good guy too. His thoughts and opinions are priceless to read and the arguments with his mother simply hilarious.
You also give a very perceptive and striking insight into Vader‘s head - I don‘t think I have ever come across such a convincing description as to what the force would do to a user, and how that could have affected Vader‘s action. Brilliant idea.

That awkward conversation about the photos between Ani and Obi has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a while. loving the story.
