I find this Dark Ending strangely fitting. With the blatant disregard Vader holds for anything and anyone but himself (I would argue that he only cares about Padme, Anakin, and Schmi to the extent that he can control them), it is no wonder he tears the galaxy to pieces. Interesting read.

I'm not gonna lie - this is rather strange because the timeline has already been altered. How can this possibly work?

The only thing I can think of is that you have placed this "future" incarnation of Vader into a completely new alternate timeline that does not depend on the original series of events for him to exist like this. That being the case, everything is likely to be totally different, no matter what.

This is an intriguing concept, but why are all of the quotation marks in the wrong position?

Regardless, I am curious to see how this plays out. Right now, I cannot begin to imagine what an enormous paradox this will cause in the timeline. Who is the main character anyway? Anakin? Vader? Something else? Is he even real or is this all in his imagination?

i was worried about all the punctuation and grammar problems in the first few chapters, but they seem to have mostly cleared up. this story seems to be taking on a life of its own; I'm really enjoying it!
