Oh dear - it's not finished!
| KeiraAchiOkanabe chapter 4 . 7/16/2006
Poor Frodo. Tries to do the right thing, but it ends up blowing up *or throwing up for the lack of a better word* right in his face!
| frodo is my bitch chapter 1 . 5/21/2005
yay! Another enema obsesed person! Hope it's finished soon.
| Ami chapter 4 . 5/23/2004
I'm not quite sure how I missed this story for the longest time, but anyhow, I have read it now and immensely enjoyed it. I love the way you have portrayed Aunty Dora. Your writing has a very lyrical almost sing-songy feel to it that engages the readers so quickly, yet won't let them go. Happy writing to you Febobe! I hope you are feeling better and will be able to continue your stories. Take care!

Love it! So glad youre writing again, you are so talented its a shame when we miss your stories. I look forward to the next installment. tree

*sighs happily* You rock. Have I told you this before? Let me reiterate, anyway. You clearly have the same raging case of FNS that I do, and you convey in your fics exactly what I try to: the simple balance of need and care, the very basic comforts of helping those who need it. And a healthy dose of well-educated basic medical theory as well. Cheers.
(Granted, I'm now intricately involved in running a toroidal space station/medical base for Transformers, but the theory is the same.)

I never read a food poisoning story before. It's a little more detailed than I liked but that doesn't detract from how good the story is. Aunt Dora is a very neat character. I loved all the stories about her childhood. Keep writing.
| LilyBaggins chapter 4 . 9/9/2003
This the best chapter yet... poor little thing, having to be cared for in such an undignified manner! But it's darling... and of course, makes me wish Frodo's mother could come back from the dead to take care of him. Sigh . . . at least Aunt Dora, for all of her primness, is good with young hobbits.
| Gentle Hobbit chapter 4 . 9/8/2003
I tried to review yesterday, and wouldn't let me. So hopefully today it will work...
Oh my goodness - this is just wonderful. I'm glad I found this story. I *love* "Aunt Dora". And as disgruntled as Bilbo may be in her taking charge of looking after Frodo, I bet he's pretty grateful. I also love the way she just gets on with taking care of Frodo, and how she can blend heartwarming tales with caretaking. Those stories must help poor Frodo take his mind off those rather embarrassing moments...
| Mandy Baggins chapter 4 . 9/6/2003
OMG! This so made my day to see this on my newly updated stories! I am soo happy, I've been waiting forever for this dang chapter!
It is a bit short (dissapointed) but it is the cutest! Not that much Frodo sickness... but just adorable with the little stories of his papa and him only 'fifteen months old.'
Waiting for more,
| Aemilia Rose chapter 4 . 9/6/2003
Aw. That was a cute conversation with Aunt Dora telling Frodo about his father. I loved it.
Update soon please!
| shirebound chapter 4 . 9/6/2003
Oh, this is so swet! Can I borrow Aunt Dora next time I feel sick? Please? I can't imagine a more soothing, wonderful caregiver for our sick wee one.
And I adore this -
"Frodo smiled. The image of his father as a youngster begging for treats was rather more amusing than many of the few family stories he'd heard."
| shireling chapter 4 . 9/5/2003
I'm so glad you updated this story.
Poor Frodo...sick, embarrassed and desperate for comfort.
| Mandy Baggins chapter 3 . 4/6/2003
OMG, this story is the best! I absolutly love it, 'cuz none of the other Frodo stories where he's sick include his 'bowels' which I think is a major part in any illness! I just recently got into LotR, and this is only the second story. I guess I get hte privilage of reading the best first! Continue continue continue!
I cant wait to see if Frodo gets the enema! Post post post and dont quit! This is one of the best sick-Frodo stories ever!
