This was so tragic. Like I understand why Kira needed to be punished but I still sympathize with Light—not Kira. The emotions were so raw, this story is so beautiful, I loved everything about it. Your writing is so solemn and vivid and I just loved every bit and piece of this. Wow, this is canon for me now.

Very sad. But a just point of view for Light Yagami.

I don't want to cry, so I can only laugh at how great this is. Amazing writing and emotional demonstration.

I don't know what brought me here but this story is amazing and beautifully written. Each chapter is full of emotions had made me cry at least twice for each chapter. You did a great job. :3

I'm usually not one for this type of fanfics and I honestly don't know what drew my attention here, but I'm glad I read it anyway. The characters were well written, accurately, I honestly believe there is a big chance that this is how would it look like had L captured Light, with some small changes. The idea itself of this alternate timeline is interesting in itself. And I cried as I was reading. Worth it. Thank you for writing it. It's beautiful.

Fucking hell l is a dick. I mean, yes, kira killed lot's of people but in doing he so he saved thousand more. For every 1 guilty prisoner he save 12 murder victims. I mean, if kira hadn't gotten bat shit crazy from power he would have been fine.

you know... I used to be a great supporter of capital punishment... this fic seriously changed my mind, by crushing my heart... this was an excellent read, I honestly loved the way you portrayed the humane side of L, Watari's father like attitude towards L, Matsuda's admiration of Light, and most importantly, Light Yagami's character... not many people can write him in sort of a human, vulnerable way, and you pulled it off soo... beautifully... the way he is afraid of dying, loves his family and is scared of his father's disapproval... is so touching that it hurts... I freaking cried the whole fic out, but the last four words L writes on the Death Note crumpled me, broke me beyond belief... this was seriously a fantastic fic, and I'll recommend it to all my friends on FFN ...

LOVE the character work and humanity of L and Watarai being more EXPERIENCED and the hoenst facts the pity but not sympathy, the whole damaged genius thought it was a trade thing, all the good life thigns and the TALK and the honest he could have walked away any time... Ryuuk might have killed him immediatly after but hey.
the rules of the universe set up ARE unbelievably sqrewy and to much details is LEFT OUT.
first being we diddnt really get a good sense of what TYPE of criminals he killed, how much he actually wrote, versus the fact criminals would just black list everyones names keep it hiden destroy it, that oens persons ability to write down names wouldent be a QUICK PROCESSS especially seeing as it was what, less then two months him starting? it be a big shock and freak the world out but the cokanmie 90 % of crome... REPORTED crime maby.

but for every maby criminal leader he killed their would have been thousands of others in the organization that have survived nameless and then taken palce even MORE brutal.
