This is intense and beautifully(?) moving.

It was painful but a relief getting to see Matsuda like this and know him more.

This chapter left me in tears. I don't remember how Light was in canon in regards to his family but I am grateful for your portrayal of Light as a filial pious child. L's POV disassembling each observation and interaction is enlightening. Soichiro and Sachiko come off try to character from my impression of them.

i think i'll never forget your story. it was short, very heartwrenching and beautifully written. i love how you were able to capture all characters well- and to be honest, i would have preferred your story rather than the original ending. thank you for sharing this.

This is the most beautiful story I read in my entire life. Your writing is amazing and your ability to keep everyone in character is astonishing. I enjoyed every last word of this story and even cried when Light delivered his speech and sang before he was executed. And one thing I really, really love about this story are the four additional words L wrote. He has a heart after all.

This fic has left a big impact on my soul that my words might not give justice to it. It's so beautiful. So tragic. This is like a Light Yagami redemption arc. But it's too late because he still died. This is the most canon L i have ever read. That's just L, who lives in logic rather than his emotions because he just doesnt need them. I love the platonic LawLight. I love that in a roundabout way, L showed his care for Light.

Damn. Papa Yagami loves Light so much he still thinks the best of him. And mama yagami too. She just loves his boy and she wants everyone to know he's not a monster. I love that scene where Light and papa yagami talked finally. I love that Light would crumble in front of his father, because at the end of the day, Light loves his family and he admires his dad. Aaaaaaa and the Task Force. Everyone loves Light despite being Kira. Because they all saw his good side before knowing his dark side.

I love your writing. I love that Light was still dignified in the end. And he sang even (maaaan i love his jap dub voice. Mamoru miyano sings so well )

This is probably one of the fanfics that will haunt me every night and repeatedly shatter me. Thank you very much for this.
