this has been great! a few thoughts of what I've enjoyed

you did a wonderful job showing the struggle of sakura trying to maintain not only the guise kf a timetraveler but also a child, was really fun and engaging. what a conundrum, you really captured the whole "look beneath the underneath" thing

the cbaracterization of the characters has been wonderful. gaara being unsure of how to converse, responding to things like "how are the siblings?" with "they are acceptable, they are unharmed, etc" when writing letters was a great touch. same goes to itachi and the subtle ways we get to see throufh his cracking facade as he grows to trust sakura, especially regarding his illness.

i really liked the conundrum of adult sakura in kid sakuras body navigating different relationships while holding firm on boundaries. it would be easy to write something, ah, questionable, something that in a lot of fics takes me out of things to mutter "yuck" under my breath, but the way she uses it to tease the boys who question how comfortable she is with adults, or and the way all adults only as a child despite her intellect and maturity, is well appreciated.

i also loved the small tidbits we get unto the failed future sakura was flung from. a sentence or two describing an unfortunate fate, a tease of her growing relationsjip with kakashi, things like that, and my curiosity of how things went with the loathesome danzo as hokage, really kept me invested in both timelines

The death of everyone around her in her time-line is so off and suspicious. Every time that Sakura seems to closer to them, they suddenly die. Why do I get the feeling that ROOT and Danzo has everything to do with their deaths, huh?

Interesting. Itachi has something to live for now, so he isn't going as hard on his body so he can live long enough for Sasuke to meet him. Instead of in cannon where he hurt his mind, traumatizing him, and then waiting for him to kill him. Sakura has changed a lot just by being there for Naruto. And in turn she's been able to help Kakashi and Sasuke and many others too. The bright Will of Fire burns brighter than the sun, and it only grows as she meets more and more people. Still, I can't imagine it's easy for her. All of her precious people are gone, and she has to see these new people that she is starting to care for just as much, but they have not gone through half as much with her has she has gone through for them. What a powerful thing love can be. There is no greater power than that, for sure. Giving it away only creates more, only makes it stronger. I found this story years ago by chance, glad I could find it once again, even though I wasn't looking for it. You really do her justice, same with everyone else. I only wish I could have told you this sooner. Better late than never, as a wise person once said. Right?
