I just finished this at 11:49pm and can I say one thing (that will turn into several): wow. This was absolutely amazing and so true to the characters/ship. I loved all of it, even the sad and angsty parts! You are such a talented and wonderful writer and I can't wait to read more of your fics to survive the upcoming hiatus!

This story is perfection! I am sooooo happy you wrote it. You really caught the essence of Emma, Killian, and Henry so well. Thank you soooo much for this!

I loved this...the fact that Emma needs Killian's help to get out of the dress, and the lingering heat between the two of them. The cupcake baking and that Killian wanted to help her, and the image of him sleep-rumpled stumbling into the kitchen looking so attractive even half asleep (especially half asleep, with his hair itching for her touch, his voice soft and gentle)...that Emma had that yearning to know what it would be like to roll over and see him beside her like that. That he had gone to look for her, when he woke, noticing she had gone. So many feelings! What I loved most is that you really captured the quiet intimacy. Both were unguarded and softer, being physically tired makes it harder to maintain distance, walls and emotions, which is why people confess more late at night. Emma confided about her parents, and admitted that they were both attracted to each other. Out loud, she admitted it. It is downhill from here, in the most amazing way.
| iloveperfume chapter 6 . 3/28/2016
I loved their reaction to each other all dressed up for the premiere, and kinda jealous of Emma's entourage - I adore getting hair and makeup done. I felt sorry for Emma having to deal with a tipsy Killian. But he turned on the charm once he got to the premiere, and I loved how he reassured Emma in front of the photographers and how she in turn squeezed his hand in comfort once they were watching the movie.
Killian's reaction to her dress, that quiet wonderment (because lets be honest, Emma looked freaking incredible) and the confession in the car - that he needs to drink to take the nervousness off...that was such a nice soft vulnerability coming through. They are slowly becoming more natural with each other, on the way to trusting each other. They're gonna need that to survive this year.
| iloveperfume chapter 5 . 3/27/2016
I loved the simple way they prepared breakfast together, that it was so natural - although of course that's what freaked Emma out. That Killian was so angry when she left the house amongst the swarm of paparazzi...but hey, at least they got some good shots out of it, and she left the house wearing his shirt, so Regina is going to be happy!
Loved the banter of ''it's pretty hard to fuck up bacon.'' That made me laugh. I love the playfulness in that scene.
| iloveperfume chapter 4 . 3/27/2016
I loved that there was a bit of fluffiness here to counteract the growing attraction - the way Emma teased Killian on the couch and he reciprocated...but I also love that he thinks about what she would look like waking up in his shirt and that she's finding it a bit too easy to sway into his physical space, to imagine what it would be like to be curled up next to him...and not in the name of the job. I love that Killian took a photo of Emma by the firelight, her hair a mess, wine glass in hand and wearing his shirt. It says a lot that he won't let her delete it either ;) It is very, very interesting seeing them get to know each other, I love that I can feel that pull of attraction between them.
| iloveperfume chapter 3 . 3/27/2016
I like how Killian lets Emma see a piece of the real him here, by taking her to his spot. And that she responds by sharing about baking. They are tentatively getting to know each other, by agreeing to make the best of the situation and at least try to become friends. You can tell Killian was kind of ashamed of his behavior in Regina's office, but that there are hidden demons there, that Emma sympathizes with. I think Killian is a little unnerved that the charming front doesn't really work with Emma: the smirks, the innuendo...she can see it's an act, and so he changes tactic by being honest. They are intrigued by each other, that's for sure, and are alot more alike then they realize...

I love that you write the beginnings of attraction here (on both their parts), it will certainly make their relationship more believable to the press. The pool scene was really cute, and I like how Emma lightened the mood by splashing him, Killian was taken by surprise, and so in turn took Emma by surprise - making for some realistic photos that got them both to relax. It is lovely to see that playful and attraction making itself known. That even upon getting to know each other, that attraction sparked to life.
I loved your description of Killian's house too. A step up for Emma, and way for her to be fully drawn into Killian's world. As you know, I've left you many rambling reviews on future chapters about how much I love it, but it really helps me envision the scenes that take place there.

I'm now re-reading this story for what feels like the 100th time, because I love it so much. but I never reviewed these earlier chapters. I love Emma's initial reaction to Killian, and that Regina was ballsy enough to offer her a job in a cafe, she is desperate it seems to get him on the right track. After all he reflects on her as a service, so if Killian behaves badly, her business suffers. Regina's line of ''When he behaves badly - and rest assured, Miss Swan, he can't help himself and he will'' is so on point with how she is as a character, but it also makes Killian's character so intriguing.

I'm really confused with the shower scene.. Did it actually happen or was killian just imagining it?

OH. MY. GOD.
I breezed through your story in two days and I LOVED IT SO MUCH. There were times when Killian's words got a tad to repetitive, but I love the dynamic of their relationship. Especially the push and pull in the beginning. I always squeal whenever you brought in other characters. Charming's bromance with Killian. Regina, who's fabulous as ever. Henry, Granny, Elsa! You are a writer so filled with potential. And I know this sounds weird but I always get goosebumps when I read a really good story, and around the middle of the story I was getting goosebumps 24/7! Thank you so much for making me squeal and smile on the train like an idiot on a tiring long ride home. If I get to meet you one day, I'll be sure to ask my roommate to bake you some chocolate cupcakes!
Thank you for a wonderfully sweet, occasionally painful but AMAZEBALLS story, love. You are incredible.
