Okay. I just need to get this out, I haven't even finished reading this yet.
HOW are you managing to make me LIKE such an annoying character as Lambo?! I mean, while watching Lambo's scenes in Reborn I always tell myself: 'Give him a break, he's only 5' . But other than a few scenes I never really see him as much more than a slightly irritating kid. I read your other Lambo one- shot too and you make him so much deeper and more interesting than I ever imagine him to be. Keep it up! Imma go read the rest now... :)

Honestly, I've always wanted to see a KHR story like this where Tsunayoshi completely rejects the mafia, rejects Vongola. However I've always felt that then there would be no story, but your story completely negated that feeling. Thank you for writing this.

I really, really like this. It's dark, and messed up, and full of nastiness, but I really love how Tsuna is resolved to not be a mafia boss, or to watch it BURN if it gets to him. I hate that he wasn't successful in escaping, but I'm so, SO glad, in a sharp, vicious way, that Tsuna's gonna get his own back and bring it all crashing down so they can reap what they sowed. You did a fantastic job.

A great idea with a great execution. I loved the part with Varia the best though just because it was funny - also pretty badass, not to mention Squalo's hair got chopped off, which was really unexpected.
I really enjoyed the portrayal of all characters and how Vongola was shown for what it really is, what is way too often forgotten in canon - a criminal organization that will play dirty to get what it wants. Ah, unfortunately for the dear mafiosi, the thing they forcefully got is someone who's gonna decide their future. They better brace themselves.

You almost had me cry when Tsuna had to take the rings back. Ouch those feels hurt. I'm now picturing the Mafia/Vongola REGRETTING forcing Tsuna to take the rings.
