Slow built, longer years to update a chapter (slow updates)

If this is how is going to be, then this might has well be dead or maybe you guys should have never posted this story out all and kept it to yourselves.

I hate when I get into a fic and I see this, wasted my time and years just waiting for this shit to update. Wish I never supported this fic and gave praise from the beginning when it came out

If Archer's fighting Vortigern, who he knows has Servant level abilities, why would he bother using normal arrows instead of his anti-tank arrows. Just because he doesn't want to resort to using Noble Phantasms yet, doesn't mean he cant project the type of magical arrows he used in the Grail War, the kind that he can fire at machine gun rates, pierce through rock and mow down a house(and in the anime track and follow their targets).

Looking forward to the chapter, especially if we get to see the aftermath of the current arc. I keep checking if this is updated way too much.

Vortigern was going in the Church's direction, so Archer is bound to have spectators when he fights Vortigern again... Doubt he'll be happy about it, but man aftermath will be hilarious. Can't wait for next Chapter

God, I love this story, it's beautiful, wonderful, and has given me inspiration!

I really like this story, and I hope you two get around to updating it soon, especially after that cliffhanger. I’ve only seen a little of the Fate series but I like Archer and this story is really turning me on to the series as a whole. Some of the lore and details of the Fate universe are kind of hard to grasp though, it seems like a complex if intriguing universe.

Is this story is still getting updated?

First, I just found this story a few hours ago and I couldn’t put it down. You both have put a lot of effort into this and I’m loving it.

However I’m not feeling Archer’s fighting. You mentioned flashes of light vs regular saxons indicating magic but vs Vortigern he simply focuses on using normal weapons? This is Archer, not Shirou, it may just be my opinion but I think Archer would have assessed the enemy quickly and as soon as he heard that no mortal weapon could kill Vortigern, pulled out Kanshou and Bakuya. That aside, Reinforcement, it and Projection are Archer’s bread and butter. I would think in combat he would use his Reinforcement magic to make his body durable enough to be impervious to the enemy’s weapons as a “just in case”/“cover all bases” action, especially since it was mentioned in a previous chapter that he is flesh and blood and can actually die. Although, for all I know you intended to have him realize this after the fact and reprimand himself for being complacent. I’m sure you both have your reasons and I hope to find out some of the answers in the next chapter.

On a separate but not unrelated note; I know it was only shown at the end of the latest chapter but I am curious why Archer’s stats are so low. He is still a counter guardian and anti-hero. This is just my opinion but I could understand if he had to “activate” himself to use his true power but to just make him weak gives an offputting feeling to it.

Anyway sorry if that’s come across as negative or my inserting my own thoughts too much. I’ve always loved the Fate series and I’ve never seen a story like yours written before. As a said at the beginning I love your story and I hope the two of you keep it going for a while. I’ll “see” you after the next chapter or sooner if you chose to respond directly.
