It is truly sad that this story was put on hiatus since I enjoyed it a lot.
The writing was very good and the characters and plot progression felt natural.
My only grpe would be that Archer remembers that much about his past aside from the fire and Saber‘s appearance.
Aside from that I very much adored that you kept to the decision of keeping Archer as a support for Artoria and Gwen and as a smith instead of him magically removing all of Britains problems.

I‘ll be happy once you‘ll pick up the story from hiatus again in whatever amount of years.

Very interesting, I will continue reading this story to see what more surprises it brings.

Out of the handful of fics in which Shirou/Archer travels back to the Arthurian Legend, I consider this to be one of the best (and most interesting).

Hope it comes back one day.

I fail to understand why Alaya would keep Emiya around if she has men of de Sade's calibre to pick from. She is the collective will of all of mankind; she should know unwilling slaves make for poor workmen - motivated people who love their job are a lot more productive. If you need butchers, pick people with a butcher's disposition, not a farmer...

Will this book ever be continued? It has been 3 years since the last chapter and I am really getting into it! I hope it isn't over because this is great so far!

I'm always impressed by stories which show an in-depth knowledge of mythology , history and old crafts
Few people dare to set the story in some well known historic period and also do a successful job at it .
Awesome story .

By the way , I don't understand Emiya's thinking in how exactly will he change anything with how minimal contact he's determined to keep .
All the personal tragedies seem to be on track .
And now with outright showing his skills but still thinking of low profile ? Is he that stupid ?
I also don't understand the not talking thing between Artoria and Guinevere . You portrayed it as close friends but I just don't see it .
Not that I know if this behavior is the norm for rape victims .

But Guinevere also doesn't make sense because she behaves as if Artoria is actually a man and is subservient towards her "husband" as is expected of women in that age instead of friends with a fellow woman and actual knowledge that the marriage is a deception . Two months of this and clear knowledge that something is wrong and not putting your foot down is ridiculous .

Where are Ector and Kay in all of this ? They also know something terrible happenedassuming Kay told Ector what Emiya told him) but you haven't written anything what they were doing in the last months .
Besides the strained relationship with Guinevere it seems no one noticed aything . Not Merlin either .
It's kinda weird . As if it's forgotten and already moved past .

I also don't know how you will resolve Vortigern from not just jumping into the castle and slaughtering everyone inside with how easily he handled Emiya .

I'm kinda thinking you've written yourself into a corner with not many believable exits but I'm waiting to be surprised .
