The pacing of this story has been impeccable. I am such a fan of slow burns and this story has been paced out so realistically and beautifully. The stage Matt and Sarah are at now in their relationship feels so earned and natural. Also, the way you write all the side characters is wonderful. Despite not being the main focus of the story, they are multi dimensional and have well developed personalities that enhance the story overall. The little tidbits into Foggy and Karen’s relationship are my favorite. I was disappointed at the beginning of the show when the showrunners pivoted away from Foggy and Karen being a couple, even though it seemed like they would have been great together. So I’m very happy I get to see it become reality in this story! I’m loving your story and can’t wait to keep reading more!

Quite genuinely don’t think I’ll be able to watch the new series because I’ll just be disappointed it’s not this!

I don't think I have ever been more proud of a fictional character in my entire life. The internal SCREAM I scrumpt when Sarah got the mirror, all the way until she sent her message, holy SHIT. Our baby girl is all grown up. I KNEW she would be the one to lead Matt to the right place, I just had no clue how she was gonna manage it.

And can we talk about the emotional payoff we just got on MULTIPLE different levels? Th made, omfg. I don't even have the words to properly convey how happy I am, regardless of Sarah getting stuck in her head again or Jason completely ruining the good vibes.

At first, I had no idea that the Daredevil series even existed. But after reading your novel, I promised myself I wouldn’t watch the show until I finished it. And once I do watch the series, I’ll definitely come back to reread your novel.

For most people, Daredevil came from the show—but for me, Daredevil came from you.

I think I might be different from some readers. I don’t enjoy intimate scenes between the protagonists—I couldn’t read even a single line of them. Light kisses are the most I can handle. To me, their love feels so pure and gentle. It’s beautiful. They are truly my favorite couple. Whenever I think of love, I immediately think of Sarah and Matt.

I wish Sarah had been in the series too—I would have been so happy! And I am happy now. I hope you share more of the events you’ve written.

It was my sister who introduced me to this novel. After the first chapter, I thought it would be like any other story. But when I looked deeper and compared it to other novels, I realized that this one is a true masterpiece. It’s unique and incredible.

First of all, let me send you the biggest virtual hug. With Born again being released today I opened this story last night and was rereading my favourite chapters. I thought of you again and wanted to send a further message wishing you happy daredevil day and send best wishes but I hate to think of authors feeing harassed so sent my thoughts to you. Thank you for giving us this precious update today.
The daredevil series is the only MCU thing I've been excited for properly since Endgame, so please take this as the highest compliment that when I got the email this morning at 10am that you updated I mentally cancelled all plans to watch the show tonight and instead devote all my time to reading and rereading this chapter. It's been a LONG day at work.

When I saw the update, I knew I couldn't read the chapter immediately until I got home but I did want to read your A/N (btw, I'm a Brit and I had no idea Asheville was a place, how have I followed you all this time and been so ignorant!) But I did want to check in immediately to know that you were ok so just read the A/N. I'm so sorry it's been such a difficult year, I can't imagine. I thank you for continuing this story even through all that hardship. I really do. I appreciate from your A/N that some of these emotions and scenarios must've been difficult to write, but I hope there was some comfort in writing this story in it's familiarity and helping these characters process their emotions.

I actually had a small tear in my eye reading your A/N - again thanks for making my work day difficult, haha. I probably bore you now whenever I write a review, because I tell you every time how I've followed this story since December 2015. A 1/3 of my life. Longer than other book series, TV shows, film franchises, etc. Your commitment to these characters and consistency in such beautiful writing is truly astounding. No matter how long it went between updates I always trusted you as an author to come back and always deliver with the quality of your work. I don't think I can say that for any other story I follow in FF ever. And lets be honest, I don't think I can say that for many art mediums outside of FF either! You've been steadfast and a constant in my life for so long.
I think I felt this story would go on forever. That I would always have an update to look forward to. So it hit me like a gut punch to read that there is 1 chapter left to this story. It doesn't seem real that we have reached this point.

Ohh this is insane. I was just rereading (again… for the millionth time) when I saw you had updated. This chapter is literally everything! Ughhh Matt struggling with how violent he can get, Sarah Lowkey being a bit unhinged when he came to rescue her (absolutely loved that part like yeah he’s going to kick everyone’s ass for you) and then the plot twist at the end? Ughh you are incredible.
But on a more serious note,
I am truly very sorry for your loss and for your shitty year. While I don’t know what it’s like to loose someone close to you, I do know very well just how much of a bitch depression can be.
At the end of the day, YOU are more important than anything else. So don’t worry about the break or the changing of plot points. As long as you are getting through it alright!

Glad to see you hanging in there. Can’t believe the end is near, but this is still my fav fanfic of all time. No joke think that I first read this when I first started college and that was like 8 years ago. Also, I can’t believe they went through all this and still haven’t talked lmao. Eagerly anticipating the next chapter as always! Take care of yourself and thanks so so much for sticking with this story.
