The acromantula are not native to the forest so there wouldn't be any passages from the chamber to their colony. Hagrid brought Aarogog and his mate to the forest and they created the colony but that was after Myrtle's death.

Myrtle wasn't the first victim, she was the last before Riddle was forced to seal up the chamber.
