![]() ![]() ![]() As much as I don't want this one to end, all stories must. And oh what a lovely ending. I feel like there's still a sequel though and you definitely sowed the seeds for it. Erik is so shady and I just know he's going to blackmail Mary but he is so going down because Mary told Matthew everything and also...Matthew is scary sometimes. Don't even get me started on Blake. It's been a wonderful journey reading this wonderful story. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() wait... fin?! like... FIN fin? i don't know why i liked this story so much. i'm not sure i can pin point it, exactly, but it was just such a fresh setting for all the characters and the story telling was very suspenseful and exciting. if it is truly the end, it was rather abrupt but... well done, thanks for sharing it. |
![]() ![]() Oh. Im look forward to their baby so very much! |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a beautiful ending! Loved how Mary was a little overzealous in making sure Anna and Alex's wedding was perfect. It definitely demonstrates Mary's true heart. The contrast between Anna and Matthew's dance with Alex and Mary's was funny. It was great that Anna indulged in Alex's fantasy and their honeymoon was truly romantic. Can't say this enough how much I love Matthew and Mary's conversations, from their talk about fantasies to how their relationship may change in the future. They're truly open and honest with each other and are able to provide different and thoughtful perspective on various subject matters. Loved reading how much they're enjoying their new home! Amazing story! Thank you so much for devoting your wonderful writing talents to this great couple. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh god, I can't believe this is over! At first I got a little worried with the cliffhangers you left, but then I remembered all the reassurances of the love and trust they have on each other, plus the ones given in this chapter and I was calm again haha. I loved Anna and Alex's wedding, and Alex's fantasy made me laugh. I was not expecting that! Isobel and Violet's conversation was really lovely. Congrats on writing such a wonderful, creative, beautiful (and long, seriously I'm amazed at the amount of words this story has, that's awesome) story. Your writing is absolutely fantastic! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow... congratulations on a fantastic story, well told. A Matthew Maven's true delight from start to finish. Thank you so much for everything. TMR |
![]() ![]() ![]() I never thought that driving could be so hot! Perhaps Robert could try doing volunteer work before he drives his daughters crazy. Anna learning about Alex's past was very interesting and explains why he is so loyal to Violet and Matthew. Thomas is really coming across as being shady. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A wonderful chapter. I loved that Mary and Matthew got to enjoy the night in that club. And it was perfect, as always, just the two of them in their own world. That line about Matthew’s words making a bigger impact on Mary rather than all the bass and music was great. I hope we can get some thoughts from Matthew about being married and how he feels about it in the next chapters, I think that would be nice. The conversation between Anna and Violet for me was fantastic and now I understand why Alex keeps calling Mary Lady Mary. And now to the new home. I’m really curious about their “new” life in London now. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely honeymoon! I really like Matthew's perspective on the timing of their relationship. I'm glad to find out about Alex's background and why he's had such a close relationship to Violet-I have so been wondering about it throughout the story. Robert and his hobbies was too funny! Now, Thomas . . . I just have to think there is more here than meets the eye! Looking forward to the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice finishing up here... love the twist on canon dialogue in the villa...and Matthew's return to Mary's from the plane ride. Still not convinced you don't have one or two more surprises...but we'll have to see! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You really got the essence of their relationship- that they needed to get together when they did because earlier they would have been too immature for it to last. In modern times or in canon. Interesting lunch with Anna and Violet. Why oh why did she hire Thomas back. No good can come off that, can it? I see a shed in Isis' future. . . |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely loved this chapter! Matthew and Mary's honeymoon surpassed my expectations. Really loved their conversations. The best was when Matthew explained why is was probably for the best that they didn't get together until now. Loved Matthew's logic because there's no regrets. What was truly wonderful to read was how much they enjoy just being with each other. The clubbing was fun, especially since Mary told Matthew that she wanted to experience this with him after the hen night. A true clubbing experience had to include a food truck meal. All I can say about the GG bridge drive was WOW! So happy to learn about Alex's past in relation to Violet. Very satisfying! Excellent as always! |
![]() ![]() Love the "retired" Robert humor! As he drifts from hobby to hobby trying to fill his free time. Drowning Edith and Sybil with "fatherly advice" emails :D What - no Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for him too? Nice to get the backstory on Alex and why his special relationship with Violet. Thank you for the update. |
![]() ![]() Tee hee hee. I drive over the GG Bridge and on that stretch of 101 quite frequently. It'll be tough not to grin like a loon next time! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the part where they are Mexican food, I'm Mexican so I loved that they ate tacos al pastor and churros! Their entire honeymoon was amazing. I really liked the scene with Anna and violet, knowing Alex's backstory was great! |
