Reviews for Petrification Proliferation
J chapter 7 . 5/4
I second that comment. This story doesn't seem finished at all, and I'm sure the last time I checked it, it didn't say completed, so why does it say so now?
Beth1112 chapter 7 . 2/6
I enjoyed your story.
fvdv123 chapter 7 . 1/28
This story is far from complete.
melissa52080 chapter 7 . 1/19
Loved the story...
J chapter 7 . 11/19/2024
In canon, Harry isn't just willed everything by Sirius, but Draco gets nothing. Meaning either the 'Lords' thing is literally just fanfic, which I believe it is, so no one inherits it cos it doesn't exist in canon, or that Harry inherits there too. Besides, if Lordships are a thing then I'd presume a godson could be named heir, or be adopted as such, so Draco would still get nothing...

Harry would be medically underweight if it wasn't for Hogwarts tho, so they aren't actually borderline at all, but far over the line with some effects negated by the time he spends away from them. And unlike in the show, the clothes are castoffs that are little better than rags, ie. he's fully clothed but not properly clothed.
He may not have been fully 'abused', but 'neglected' he was, and that's an actionable crime too.

Isn't Dumbledore a bit old to be rappelling down a pipe? You'd think Slytherin would find that undignified too, so surely there's a way to ask for stairs or something...?

How could you do that to Kingsley? He's frankly the LEAST likely one to try and wear the ring, even with a compulsion on it. He's level headed and not at all impetuous, so he wouldn't go near it alone. It's a bit unbelievable frankly.

It's not his hometown tho is it, it's an entire society that's already good at hiding within an entire country. And he isn't completely anonymous - Dumbledore knows, and so do some of said rich and powerful - they just became his first supporters and followers, so they aren't going to tell those who aren't, now are they?

To Pointer3109 - If we are going with muggle methods, is the Horcrux all of Harry or is it JUST the scar? Cos if it's just the scar, which I think it is, then use an operation to cut it out, replace any bone from the skull with a metal plate (or skele-gro) and then incinerate the bit of flesh with a scar on it. Harry doesn't need to die, only the actual scar bit needs to be destroyed.
mamacasper06 chapter 7 . 11/11/2024
Needs at least another chapter and maybe an epilogue!
Hawkfeather chapter 7 . 9/13/2024
i freaking love this
Pointer3109 chapter 6 . 9/8/2024
The piece of soul in Harry is unprotected. Unlike a "normal" horcrux. :)
Besides the goblins, centaurs, Indians, Native Americans, or Egyptians, I'd try the muggle method of stopping Harry's heart for a bit. Say three or four minutes.
Many cultures considered you "dead" when your heart stopped.
There can be some side effects such as damage to your kidneys when your blood pressure comes back up, but that should be repairable by magic.
J chapter 5 . 9/4/2024
Doesn't the House of Black skip females? Harry was Sirius heir from the moment he was born. So Narcissa wouldn't have been heir presumptive either way. She might have believed Draco to be the heir, but it wasn't likely to be her.
And Narcissa's talking like Andromeda pushed her away, when it was her who pushed Andromeda away. What a hypocrite.
J chapter 4 . 9/4/2024
ch 3 and 4 reply:
They really should have waited to scold her/repeat it again after she is off the calming draft, lol.

The Healers were unimpressed? I'm unimpressed with the healers! The healers sound like idiots to me! Phoenix Tears heal Basilisk Wounds, surely they are taught that? Do they not know that 'Fawkes' is a Phoenix then? Check his blood to see if the venom's still there and stuff, but don't think he's gone mental just for saying he feels fine when he *has* been physically healed already.

Of course they're not on the NHS Harry, haven't you noticed how primitive and culturally stuck a few centuries ago these wizards are? Oh, I wish someone could point that out to Malfoy!

''Never got caught out at anything after 3rd year''? They had more detentions than anyone else ever didn't they? No WAY they didn't get caught, and often. Or there would be no detention lists for Snape to make Harry re-write in book 6.

Oh dear, that map won't be there...lol.
Wait, if Filch knows that, why did the Twins never mention getting punished for it, and the Teachers weren't aware of it?

It was ridiculous of Dumbledore to just assume no one else would know what horcruxes were or be able to help. Sirius might have known from what his family were like, Bill might have known from being a Goblin employed Curse Breaker (I wouldn't be surprised if ancient Egyptian wizards tried it after all). Voldy had to learn it somewhere, and Slughorn clearly knew. So why would the Unspeakables and/or Law Enforcement heads not?!

I very very much doubt it was when Penny was petrified, unless it was on the forehead. Otherwise it would have been a non-consensual kiss. More than that tho, the Hospital wing was off limits after the first Petrification so there's no way he'd have been able to get in, nor would Ginny have been there at the same time. Sounds to me like Ginny walked in on them snogging on a classroom.
J chapter 2 . 9/4/2024
The chains on a child were overkill already in the last chapter, but arresting 4 of the Weasleys for 'harbouring a criminal', seriously?
1) It was obvious they had no idea, and 2) even if they had known he was Pettigrew, Pettigrew wasn't *known* to be a criminal.
Or is it cos he didn't register, cos then, illegal animagus is one of those crimes where only the person who did it can really be held accountable, because they had no way to know the Weasleys had any knowledge of the crime (and they clearly didn't). Take them to be questioned, sure, but not under arrest, or for 'harbouring a criminal', but for 'questioning on any knowledge they might have'.
Besides do we even know what the sentence was for being an illegal animagus? Personally, if they have done no other crime, I'd think it would be a big fine, not Azkaban.

''Takes a lot of skill'' - or, in the rats case, a lot of *help*.

I'm surprised it took that long for the healer to need a calming draught. Learning Voldemort's still around and possessing people? Meh. Learning Sirius Black will be released due to new evidence? Panic. That doesn't seem too logical...?

Did the kids tell the Aurors about the Acromantula? Cos if they did, maybe Hagrid should be staying in Azkaban, or at least getting a trial? They are a man-eating species near a SCHOOL after all! That's not just illegal smuggling/breeding, but mass child endangerment at least! I like the guy, but he never really realised how bad his actions were, or apologised, and he avoided the consequences.
Katzztar chapter 4 . 8/9/2024
I totally forgot about that vanishing cabinet that one of the Weasley twins pushed a Slytherin (Worthington?) in and the boy got stuck. Was that same cabinet that Malfoy used? I ws thinking not, but then I was getting the years mixed up.
So I went to look it up.
Well it was Montague, not Worthington.

This cabinet first appeared in book 2. Peeves knocks it over, and damages it. Filch complains because how valuable a Vanishing Cabinet is. In 1996, Fred shoves Montague in the broken cabinet and he gets stuck. He eventually apparated out and Draco finds him. This is how Draco finds out about the vanishing cabinet.

I was thinking there was 2 different broken cabinets in the school, but nope.
lunaz chapter 7 . 7/15/2024
I enjoyed this very much. I know you stated it was complete but to me it doesn't seem complete. Overall good story but with rushed ending.
Sarcasm Dragon chapter 1 . 7/2/2024
An excellent story!

The way all the complications of the plot unraveled was very organic. I also loved the tone. Just enough humor without going overboard.
RandomObsessiveReader chapter 7 . 5/28/2024
