Happy to see this updated again, and very interested in this new focus, too!

The nature of the Sekirei's reaction process is one of the most compelling things about Sekirei's lore. Primarily because the very concept of "reacting" is so fundamentally alien to how human's see relationship it provides a lot of avenues to explore inter-personal character relationships; not only with Sekirei, but how the human characters respond to it.

While sentimentalists like Yume describe the process as "fate," there is a physiological interpretation worth considering, and canon seems to imply the reaction process is based on the basic psychic abilities all Sekirei seem to possess. Any way you choose to take this, it will be interesting.

I am also glad you high-lightened how MBI altered the Sekirei to only react to human; it is one of the worst things about the setting that never gets addressed much. I am absolutely convinced, in canon, the only reason Yume and Karasuba never reacted to anyone is because of this change. Handling this will help drive Shirou's tensions with MBI.

All and all, I am very excited to see what comes next. Contrasting Akitsu desperate desire to be Winged with Kochou's pessimism is solidly good drama, and Shirou's exposure to both sides of the idea really helps drive forward a compelling narrative. This also gives you ground to explore the Ashikabi and how different they operate; from Higa's cold and business-like pragmatism, to Mikogami's childish and possessive "collector" mentality, and maybe even Minato's sincere but unmotivated hesitance.

Plenty of potential. Well done, and keep it up!

I don't *enjoy* this plot as much compared to some of the contemporaries, but it is both unique and interesting. Very good.

An interesting thought, but flawed.

The reality of the Kaleidoscope doesn't make Fate obsoletejust limited. perhaps there is a particular Fate for each reality? Perhaps a Grand Fate for the multivariate as a whole, with individual threads for each reality, just as the fates of individual humans makes up yhe grand tapestry woven by yhe Fates in so many mythologies?

A multivariate doesn't invalidate Fate.

I'm starting to think he's Miya's husbands son what with how everyone is reacting to him and more importantly aren't reacting to him. Still cant wait for MBI's reaction to him using magic when he's inevitably forced to use his more obvious powers/weapons. I can imagine the looks on everyone's faces as MBI, Matsu, and the other major players in the game watch either in person or through a screen as Shirou pulls out something like Gae Bulg and goes blow to blow with one of them and proceeds to one shot them. Karasuba alone would either try to wing him on the spot or kill him instantly while riding high on whatevers going through her veins.

Thats a rather dark take on the Ashikabi-Sekirei bond that i hope it is just her own biased opinion about it. In canon the third iteration of the Disciplinary Squad had the same Ashikabi but only Benitsubasa actually cared about trying please her Ashikabi, Karasuba didnt believe in the whole thing and Haihane didnt made that much effords about it even if she had some affection towards him meaning it isnt just merely self-brainwashing and considering the only humans that can be Ashikabis are those who had Sekireis in their family line i doubt they will remain as unaffected as she says... Forceful winging however, is another can of worms.

Im not into dual protagonist
With crossover you don't have 2 protagonist types you either merge or replace
Like you did before you ruined wandering with tainting the relationship
Because either one outshines the other and makes them look bad like Naruto in dxd or its competitive of who does what who gets what which i hate
