I have just read and enjoyed Altered Beginnings, turned to your homepage to look for more of your stories and read your latest post about your family. I well remember the terrible pain of losing my parents, though I was fortunate to have my mother for ten years after my father's passing. I remember how terribly alone and vulnerable I felt having finally lost both parents and so I hope that you have good friends or a partner to support you through this difficult time. My infant son was a great comfort to me. I feel so distressed at your situation, but can only offer my sympathy from the other side of the world.
