WOW - I did NOT see that coming at all! "Hell has not fury like a woman scorned" is so this story. You told a great story that was tied up with a great ending. Two thumbs up.

Really good story, loved your writing. Didn't know what it was about, but your words sucked me in and I kept reading. Sympathetic for Bella, cheering them on, then WHAM! Was it intentional on her part? Did she mean to hurt him like he did? I don't know. But I am glad I took a leap of faith and read this story. Thank you!

I don't think her intention was ever to hurt him. I think that she does genuinely love him and always will. However, life happens, it will run its own course regardless of what you want. Even if what you want is the love of your life. Bella wants what always was but could never be. Edward was scared and made a life altering decision. He's where Bella was all those years ago. I hope you write a followup to this. Well done.

That was messy! I don't know if Bella started out to intentionally ruin Edward's world, but after he accused her of leaving him first, I think it brought back the anger and shame from twenty years ago. Being just a little wicked and vengeful Bella had her fun, and made sure Leigh's heart, just like hers, was broken by Edward's infidelity. Immensely enjoyed the characters' inner thoughts and emotions. Extremely well written. Loved this manipulative Bella!

Apparently I'm a cold bitch. Most of your reviewers are clutching their pearls, whereas I'm cheering Bella on for getting back at Edward. He used and humiliated her in a small town, knowing that she would never again be able to see her father without the whispers and glances shadowing her every move. He destroyed her home for her, all out of a little boy bitch fit that he wanted her to stay home and make him a sammich and turn her uterus into a gumball machine, instead of going to college and having ambition. She played him like a fiddle, and I applaud her.

Wasn't expecting that!
