Great job on not only having the nerve to slashify Hitchhiker's (how brave!) but on maintaining a fabulously accurate Adam's writing style throughout.

I always thought that there must be something brewing between Ford and Arthur, it's the way that they're so mean to each other half the time - clearly a sign of incipient sexual activity. And the use of "TEA!" as a mating cry strikes a chord . . .

Just one small thing -i don't know if it was intentional or not, but certainly in the rather sordid circles in which I move it would be almost impossible to "toss off" a cup of tea. Third degree burns would inevitably ensue.

Anyway, thanks for immeasurably improving my quest to avoid revision and giving whole new layers of meaning to my current (6th today!) mug of tea . . .

groovy! great job with the adams-esque writing style, especially keeping it up throughout the entire story. i'm surprised that anyone had the guts to do a hitchhikers slash: i assume one's instinct to self-preservation would prevent it, but this was funny. i liked the sibling-like rivalry between ford and zaphod, but i don't know that ford would be able to put up with arthur for so long if they had a striclty sexual relationship. -

Wow. You actually pulled this off! (I was kind of wary about Arthur/Ford/Zaphod slash. Really wary.) But something told me to read it anyway, and I'm extremely glad I did! In short, thanks for the pleasant surprise! Awesome story!

I can't believe I just read this. I have a tainted soul now. It's one thing to slash anime or such, but the Guide? Blasphemy! I might as well go off and read ffn's bible porn now...wait, I came here straight from reading your Good Omens slash. Um. But still! Although of course it's terribly amusing. I was expecting you to point out that Ford IS one familiar thing from Earth, sort of, but ah well.

That was *damned* adorable. It sort of converted me into Ford/Arthur, but I will still not stop searching for Ford/Zaphod (yeah, 'tis weird, but it was kinda obvious in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe).
