you have an interesting way of describing the way the shard network functions. not what i feel like Wildbrow was going for with Zion capes. possible with cauldron capes if they had the capacity to second trigger. i don't think eden capes can personally but im not sure. if they could they would drastically decrease the power reserve from the approximately 100 years of power to something that would be depleted far below the average human lifespan.
while this is a decent story overall, the fact it hasn't been updated in about 6 years from this comment means it will probably never be finished. like so many other works that deserve a proper completion. tis sad i say. so sad.

It's mentioned that she's jaded. Has trust issues. Doesn't wanna join the wards. Seems to constantly have that stranger power active, so paranoia (or caution since the paranoia is wholly justified). But when the PRT want her to come in for power testing she's actually considering it? The only reason they want her to come in is so they know what she can do and thus make counters for her. And everything the PRT knows is naturally available to nearly every villain in the city (though Taylor wouldn't know this yet ofc). So she shouldn't even be considering it.
