Well, what is *described* isn't nice, pleasant, etc, the *fic* is nice, you know.

I love your us of diction it was absolutely beautiful and really gave me the 8th Doctor's feelings and how much misery was going to be inflicted upon the the time lord race.

"Gallifrey falls no more" is probably one of the most amazing and heartbreaking phrases in the entire show. I can't even imagine how the Doctor would have felt, knowing that it was his race that was the problem, and at they were damaging the entirety of space and time because they were still fighting. And, the fact that the Time Lords were seen as bad as the Daleks...

On one hand, he's doing the "right" thing, because he's saving the universe from the Time War. But...he's slaughtering his entire race and the Daleks to do it.

At least, that's what he'll believe for a few hundred years until Eleven remembers.

As for following the prompt, I think that while maybe it could have been involved more (though that's through constant referencing of it and would probably create a really bad fanfic so yeah) it actually helped a lot to create the scene.
