Reviews for The Cycle Continues Part One: Reunited |

Guest chapter 5 . 2/23/2023 I don't understand why Eragon's laughing. Arya's objection due to his age being one of the factors, was painful to him. |
Thunderofdeath97 chapter 4 . 2/23/2023 Sadly, they say the world was built for two seems to have been abandoned/discontinued Arya didn't know she loved Faolin, as a matter of fact she wasn't sur what she felt for him. She tells Eragon this in one of the books, Brisingr, I believe. True, Eragon wasn't worthy of her, he deserved better. Not really a fan of her racism, to be honest. |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 2 . 2/23/2023 Honestly speaking, Eragon is, kind of, too good for Arya. Yes, I get that his infatuation with her was a bit irritating, but I believe it was genuine, he loved her the moment he started learning about her. He's better than Faolin, in every way, really. Arya taking the crown after Firnen hatched for her, was the opposite of selfless though. Arya's thoughts and feelings towards Eragon and his feelings, in book 1 and 2, were disgusting, racist, and kind of insulting, really. She was repulsed by him being a human? At least this is all according to Firnen. She tore his heart out, and stomped on it. To me, that's not okay. |
Bob chapter 2 . 2/5/2023 cool |
Marethyr chapter 5 . 10/12/2022 Dont know if you can read this, but I’m afraid you had sorely underestimated the bond between dragon and their rider. Though I love ErArya, I still admit that for Eragon Saphira always comes first and so does Firnen to Arya. Eragon can not even think about harming Saphira, not mention saying it out loud. |
Jollygreen98 chapter 40 . 9/14/2022 wow excellent story can't wait to read part 2 |
L. Hunting chapter 8 . 7/13/2022 Ello! I don't know if you are still active or not. But I am going to leave this anyway. First, I would like to say that I am enjoying the series. I also read such things like Inheritance Cycle, though I read it much younger than you, clearly. I also enjoy romance, and I feel this is the best of both worlds. Secondly, I thank you for doing what neither of the females in my immediate family will do, and that is explain some things. I can honestly say that I cannot wait to learn more. Third, I would also like to ask if maybe you could do a definitive story on Murtagh and Nasuada, like you have Arya and Eragon. L. Hunting |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 34 . 6/6/2022 uh no offense to arya here, but i have actually seen animals whimper and whine when giving birth. Women in hospitals, and homes, don't exactly look like they are having joy when giving birth. |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 33 . 6/6/2022 hm maybe both? |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 8 . 5/21/2022 well elves don't really marry at all, they tend to just take a mate for however long they wish, lol Maybe the elves don't reproduce as easy as their other race counterparts for a variety of reasons, such as their immortality (limited immortality that is), and their bodies don't wish to sustain another life force while in times of conflict (females)? |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 4 . 5/21/2022 I don't think she loved faolin though, he was just a close friend for her. |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 3 . 5/21/2022 does firnen not include glaedr in the male dragons that arya met? Because arya met thorn, firnen, glaedr, and shruikan, at least i think she met thorn? |
thunderofdeath97 chapter 1 . 5/21/2022 personally i hated inheritance, so much that i could barely even finish it. There were a lot of things i disliked about it though. 1.) Arya being both a queen and a rider. It was my understanding, that part of the reason eragon wanted the riders established outside of alagaesia, was to remove them from all politics/keep them neutral. How does arya being both the elven queen and a rider help this? Because the other races could see her remaining on the throne as the riders allying themselves directly with the elves, and in a way, using her as a puppet/figure head for their own goals. 2.) This one is more of a personal preference of mine to be honest, but i think eragon and arya should have gotten together, clearly they both wanted to, i think arya even mentioned her feelings indirectly to eragon, during book two or three (been a while since i read the books, truth be told). If paolini didn't want to 'break' her character, he could have done something like an epilogue, fast forwarding several years. 3.) Roran. To me, the idea of roran killing that guy that killed islanzadi, was, and please forgive my language here, but dumb. Like throughout the books, we constantly read and see from the elves about how strong they are, how quick, how intelligent, etc. Islanzadi, the queen and a powerful fighter, lost, yet roran kills him? It just didn't make sense to me, now i might be remembering it wrong, but yeah just rubbed me off the wrong way. 4.) murtagh. Now i know he appears in the fork, witch, and the worm, but him and thorn could have been used with eragon and saphira helping new riders. I don't really like that eragon, got stuck with all of the responsibility, when there were three riders at the time. 5.) the grey folk. To this day, they remain a mystery. More needs to be done about them, lol 6.) Angela. See number 5, lol 7.) This one ties in a bit with number 2. As much as i and others, i imagine, want to see eragon and arya together, i am not sure if paolini will do it. I'm not saying he won't, but i am thinking he won't. Though i imagine a lot of his fans will be upset if it doesn't happen, lol sorry didn't mean to rant and rave about cannon. now as for my thoughts on this chapter. 1.) Faolin. I don't know why, but the idea of Arya loving him kind of irritates me, lol. I think he was just a friend to her though, and that if he had survived, maybe they could have/would have become more, but i could be wrong. 2.) I'm glad to see that Arya realizes that she should be with the other riders. It does make me question though, how was she able to remain queen? I thought the riders weren't allowed to be rulers of any races, due to having to remain neutral in all politics/day to day affairs, with the exceptions of wars, assassinations, and the like? |
previouslyjade chapter 8 . 5/10/2021 Lol, "The Cycle Continues' is a beautiful pun given the reproductive education you do in this chapter! I'm late to the party but after reading your Author's Note, I couldn't be more enthusiastic about your frank discussion of these things. Let's make it commonplace in fiction to talk frankly about bodies and how they work! :) |
previouslyjade chapter 5 . 5/10/2021 Addendum: Sharing toothbrushes though... nooooo :( |
