The story was: trolololololol(kidding) Really though, I think that Eragon and Arya wouldn't actually be that quick to change their personalities so fast, but I find the part where he finds Arya's true name acceptable as he did the same for Sloan. Additionally, you might want to put less fluff in there because like CP said, ExA relationship is basically like their dancing around each other. Of course, it's 10 years, so it could change, just a little less than in this story.

Lol if I was the original author of the eragon series I'd feel pretty bad...you did amazing! I'd have paid money for this book...thank you for providing the spark of imagination. Your other verson doesn't make sense. Look how far Eragon progressed ...to the point of sharing each other true names. It would not have taken a hundred years...my opinion. But either way you did amazing!

the review by US Bulldog made me laugh. they are right, your way of teaching about the female reproductive system is far more interesting than what they taught in Biology at school.

My absolute favourite part of this entire story was how you gave Angela a background. Whilst I loved Paolini's way of keeping her mysterious, and I loved the character for it (and her razor wit), your explanation fits perfectly with the original Angela.

I look forward to reading the continuation. You should publish a book of your own if you have the time and money

you would be wrong about one thing. I am a Man and I seek out Romance stories. As I often tell people, especially pretty girls, I am a hopeless romantic.

Awesome writing so far, if a bit more flowery than Paolini's. Only real criticism I have is with your response to criticism. You have stated several times that you don't care to leave author's notes, but one pops up every chapters to say the exact same thing. We, as readers, know that you are not Paolini, and that this is your adaptation on his work. Short of someone with a severe mental disability, nobody reading needs to be reminded of this fact. While author's notes refering to the content of the story are signs of weak writing or a weak author in general, constantly stating that you don't write a fanfic the same way the original author would write is even worse. It gives the impression that you are not confident with your own writing; that you need to validate yourself to your readers. That is never the case.
If your writing is good, people will read it; if it isn't, they wont. It's that simple. Any sort of "I'm not trying to write this way" or "it gets better, I swear" or anything else along those lines exists for one reason and one reason only: conscious of it or not, the author feels insecure about what they have written. It is great that you acknowledge the criticisms that you get, but do it in a way that is less invasive on your story. Reply to reviews with pms. Add more to that series themes story you posted. Just stop trying to justify what you have written. To say it again, if you are a good author we will read what you write, if you aren't, we wont. Explaining why you wrote what you did will not make the slightest difference.

Okay, here it goes. When my friend, Germanic Rose tokd me about this story, I wouldn't believe what she said about it. No, I COULDN'T believe her. When she told me that it was almost as if Christopher Paolini himself wrote it, I laughed. But here I am, shocked to the core. This story is almost too good.

I stumbled upon your story on a whim for seeing what kind of stories i could find in relating to the cycle. i am really pleased with your story and i love it! helps pass the nights away at work being a ambulance dispatcher.i look forward to the other stories that follow this first part. this first part also helps in that gap that book four ended with. i always disliked how the end left you hanging and wanting more!

Few, way to go Eragon. I am glad he has grown into such wisdom that he was able to figure out that. I hope Arya can hold on to that faith, but I understand that that might be a bit of trouble with her being a elf and all. But I am always a sucker for a story were someone finds their faith and holds on. Still hope the next chapter is fluffy.
