I'm absolutely loving this story! Your perception of Arya and Eragon is a different take from what I've seen before and seeing Arya change from stiff and formal to almost laid back is definitely refreshing :) looking forward to reading the rest

Well there goes the need for my concern about the danger of their true names being written down. Although theoretically the finger could be removed and then the ring could be carved from her finger, hollowing it out to read it. A bit grim, but plausible. Also her magic would need to keep powering the spell as I understand the Eragon universe magic system, so if she dies then the ring could be removed.

A nice idea on Eragons part, but on the off chance that an enemy gets his/her hands on the ring and manages to find both of their names on the inside (unlikely I know but still completely possible), then they are both completely and utterly -if you'll pardon my French- fcuked.

So, I just finished part one and I absolutely LOVED it ! Though I did had to quickly go over the the chapters that had more M rated content in them, but I'm truly impressed by your wonderful writing , and being 16 years old and loving books this felt like I was reading a real book. Keep up the AMAZING work!

Just finished part 1, and far out was that a journey. Absolutely loved the opening, the contrast between Eragon and Arya's conditions was so clever and well thought out. When they finally got to the Isle I feel the pace of the story slowed down considerably. This is just my opinion and while it's a fantastic story and it's meant to be more of a romance than anything I had two main quarrels with your writing. Firstly was within the character's dialogue, everyone seemed so afraid to offend or hurt anyone even in the slightest, and obviously that's meant to be how loving and caring they are to each other, however I feel there should've been a bit more in the middle sort of teasing and flirting. It was just that every time Eragon would go "I hope you can forgive me Arya" for such a petty little remark, my thoughts were something along the lines of "she'll live mate brighten up".

My second was the apparent lack of some sort of conflict or problem. Now in the later chapters there was the issue of what if they were unable to have kids, and what if they mysteriously disappeared. But I did feel like the sense of urgency that was present in the original series of, you must flee the razac, you must find the varden, seek training, fight galbatorix etc. was sort of missing. Now maybe there will be more of that in this part, and the king of the Urgals was hinted at a little bit. So especially that in your afterword you mentioned the coming chapters are based mainly on Willow and Varhog, I can hope there will be a bit more conflict.

DESPITE these long winded complaints I absolutely LOVE your story and am so happy to be able to read such a detailed, fleshed out, maturely written extension of the series I fell in love with back in grade 5. Thanks so much and I'm looking forward to the next 3 parts! :)

i really like your depictions of eragon,though i would have liked some more combat
