![]() ![]() I don’t know what I expected out of this story but nonetheless, it by far exceeded anything I could have imagined. You are an amazing writer, and I’m so glad to have read this beautifully agonizing fic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hello, NorthernSparrow. Years have passed since this story was written, and I hope you are well and happy. I myself could not be happier that I decided to take a chance on your stories. I think this one, which I read in a day and a half, has become my favorite so far. Which is weird because it has made me cry so much! _ As an off thought, I would be thrilled to read an original fantasy series by you. You are an amazing writer, able to keep me spellbound for hours at a time. If you see this message, I would welcome the chance to chat! So, the crying. My goodness, the horrific way this story started! It wasn’t so bad I couldn’t read it, but I admit it was so hard. I love how effortlessly I could get into Dean’s head, and Sam’s too, even as messed up as they got. Bit there was always hope. Heart twisting hope, and I am so glad I got through the horror with them. The Orishas. I cannot tell you how much I loved their inclusion. I had never heard of them before! GABRIEL. He stole the show. I laughed SO HARD during some of his scenes! Definitely made up for all the tears. That final battle, when the Orishas showed up, was probably my favorite part. This whole story was sort of Go BIG Or Go HOME and it was absolutely the right creative choice. I was cheering for them. Out loud. LOL I liked how friendly God turned out to be. But the possible future made me cry again. Being ace, I always saw Dean and Cas’s relationship completely differently, but in your worlds, I found a love that will resonate with me for a long time. Its beauty dazzles me, every time. Thank you for sharing it with us. ~ Anne |
![]() ![]() ![]() You hit another one out of the park and I know I'm years behind on finding these but WOW this was an incredible journey! So worth it and I can't wait to read it again (in a few months probably). Loved the original idea and concepts and ohmygosh I love when things line up so well, where it seems like fate or whatever you want to call it. The dragon concept AMAZING so much yes for that. It was all so incredible, and I wish I could be super specific but it was all just so good. I loved the hints woven in about things, like the two on the left stuff. I loved the wolves, I loved Cas's whole "wasn't it obvious?" about everything, loved the idea of Heaven on the sun in a different plane, just...all love! I would not ask for anything to be changed because I think this is perfection. |
![]() ![]() I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS. |
![]() ![]() I liked. Congratulations |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awe~The baby parrot scene is so damn cute.I’m guessing the fluffy little parrot was Cas. This story is amazing. Love your writing sparrow. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi NorthernSparrow ! So you published this a long time ago but I still wanted to give you my opinion on the story. It's awesome ! They're standing on the sun ! That's one of your best reveal yet ! I'm so amazed with this story. I really hesitated to start reading this story because your warning in the 1st chapter was ominous, but I'm so glad I read it anyway. I love your sense of detail, all the references to the Physiology of Angels book that match across all your stories, it gives nice clues. And Cas is still here ! Yeah! OK, now I'll go back to read the end of it. Thanks for writing and posting this story ! |
![]() ![]() Gabriel dragon! Was hoping they would interact with him a bit; even a "Hey Gabe!" while taking off. Really interesting and complex plot going on |
![]() ![]() ![]() ok, so, really liked this story. liked the terrible beginning, liked all the crazy, out of his head dean, liked all of it right up until we met the angels' true forms. then i skimmed like 4 chapters cause that was so not for me. but you totally brought it back, and i love the ending. please, what is your handle on AO3? you've mentioned you publish there. you mentioned DarkSparrow but that only has 2 fics, i was under the impression you had a lot more, including some destiel? thanks in advance! |
![]() ![]() I know this is being written years after you finished this, but I seriously hope you're doing better. You're an amazing writer and very few people have such a flair. You keep going. Keep on keeping on sweetie. |
![]() ![]() That was... I'm not gonna make a dumb joke, or wrote a poem, (and I'm really mad you can't see that poem in reviews, cuz that was awesome) Because there's so many things I want to say, but I don't know how. Dragon!Cas was glorious. Angsty and self-sacrificial Dean? Feeds my soul. Essientially fitting everything not entirely explained into a 34 chapter Fanfiction? Oh my, oh my, oh my Lordy. I'm gonna come back to this one. Again and again and again. Until it gets deleted, or I die, or both. In any case, I love it. I migrated here from Broken, becaus that ones not finished. Now I might read Flight, if only for more destiel, but also for your amazing way of writing, keeping evryone in charater but still branching into new territory! Cheers girl! |
![]() ![]() EVRYTHING WAS HAPPY AND THEN IT'S ALL GLOOMY AGAIN! |
![]() ![]() Honestly though, that makes a lot of sense, and I loved the imagery in this chapter. |
![]() ![]() Welp... That's it. I'm going Seventh Circle here. |
