It’s the most natural interpretation of magic in the Doctor Who universe I’ve ever seen and the most brilliant adaptation of traditional magic into a sci-fi setting that I’ve encountered to date. To the new readers out there, you’ll likely never see this fic end, but I encourage you to read it anyway because you’ll never see a better example of magic in doctor who. This fic, short as it is, is brilliant, and well worth a read. Much love to the author. |

| J chapter 3 . 3/16/2020 This is so good that you’ve basically ruined all other si/oc dw fic for me. Which is insane since this is only 3 chapters, hasn’t been updated in years, and the mc hasn’t even interacted with the doctor yet! She’s barely interacted with any of the characters, aside from the master’s mind games, and it doesn’t even matter because the story is so well written and interesting! I /love/ how you’ve developed both her and galfreyan culture! And I’m so interested in what will happen because of where she’s been brought into the timeline! I just really love this story; it’s so clever and well done and intriguing, I hope you choose to come back to it one day |
