Hello! This is a fantastic story! I’m hoping you come back to it. I’m literally on the edge of my seat! I just adore the different family dynamics the house of black seems a bit stiff but incredibly loyal. Sirius is just as snarky, protective and laid back while unbelievably temperamental as I always hope to see, I do hope Hermione is as understanding of Remus as she was in the books. I truly admired her for that! I love how strong willed and well cunning she is. A rather young chess master seemingly unafraid to step up to play anyone’s board no matter how experienced. I truly love this, and her relationship with Harry screams love and care as in cannon. I always love those two. Draco is well written as well I find it hard to not make him too out of character but likable in his younger years personally. You’ve done a fantastic job with him and just amazing over all. I truly hope you come back!

Ibjust really love your works. I don't know if you have stopped writing ff, but ai hope you get to see this message. I have been rereading several of your works that I had already read, like RD which I just extremely enjoy. And it prompted me to read some of your other stories too.

I generally don't read works that don't involve a pairing, because I really like seeing how Hermione is involved in whatever ship a particular story has. That being said though, this work is just so excellent. I really like the craftiness in getting Harry as her ward, and even how Peter was found out. If you do continue this later I am really looking forward to the ruination of Dumbledore and hope Remus has some hard truths knocked into him!

Just rereading this and wanting to let you know I adore it. I know life has probably gotten busy for you and that you probably got writers block or something, but thanks for posting this for us to read

I love this Hermione. She has so much agency and has been given so many good tools to influence the world.

This is a wonderfully entertaining tale, with so many distinct complex awesome characters I adore the senior Ladies, the kids (in the family and even the enemies), and am excited about the pending Ruin of Albus Dumbledore. Really he is a excellent despicable vile villian, well rendered despite being off-screen. (Beautiful writing, that.) The flavor of the entire piece is complex, a bit old fashioned, and so suited to our heroine Hermione.

Nothing could be done to make me love this story more. Except, of course, more of it.
