Ya, another story! :-D Can't wait to see where you take this one. I've always thought it was interesting how everyone seems to ignore what would have been the natural consequences of Ron abandoning them. Even Rowling pretty much ignored it. He came back and everything was all great and wonderful. It wouldn't work that way irl though. Trust would have been destroyed when he left. How could Hermione possible believe that he wouldn't do that again? Especially if they were to marry? His claim that he couldn't find them for weeks on end isn't believable either. In all that time we're supposed to believe that they never once said his name so he could find them with the deluminator? I just found it hard to believe.

I'm guessing Draco is going to be just as broken if not more so than Hermione is here?

this was absolutely fantastic. I cannot begin to express how happy and excited I am with this new story. You've managed to capture how I feel the post war world really was/should have been for Hermione.

"His betrayal had cut too deeply". I've always felt that everyone forgave Ron too quickly when he abandoned them in the woods. THANK YOU for finally bringing a change to how the neo post war world is shown. I've read WAY too many 'the locket is the only reason he left' pshhhht.

Of course Molly wanted nothing to do with her. After all, the Weasleys never truly regarded Hermione as a member of the family, only Harry was ever taken in and taken care of and loved. I wonder how Harry feels about all of this. I have a feeling he'd be torn but he'd eventually choose the woman whose been there for him for his entire journey and never once backed away.

Your hermiones reaction to Dracos presence was unique. Everyone has her flying off the handle and accusing him of being a Death Eater. Your most wonderful Hermione is just like "this is just one more thing that's wrong in my life that I can't/ don't want to fix so I don't really give a fuck."
