Yeah I agree, it is a little bit of a forced plot point to get the two back together again. I think her rationale flip flops a little too. First it's like a personal hurt of being toyed with and manipulated, but what she tells him, in the last chapter, is this "i dont have time for fun/for Arendelle" argument. I could see this argument having more weight if there was more build up of him trying to teach her how to have fun and then her overdoing it and messing something up. I just don't see a reason why she feels the need to lie about why he needs to leave. I like her dilemma about using her powers on the king, because he might start war. That added a little bit of believability to how he could gain the upperhand when she has superpowers. Kudos.

Sooo glad you're back! I've been checking once a month for this to come out and this chapter was A-MA-ZING! You're truly a gifted author - I did not just read that, I *saw* it. I *heard* it. You characterize Pitch perfectly, Jack's strength at the end was on point, and the disgust in my heart for Pitch as he talked about Elsa was visceral and real. Keep going, you're amazing! (please please please get the next chapter out soon, I am DYING for some good substantial reading like this)

I absolutely love this confrontation (esp Jack's declaration of love!) it's somehow kinda funny how he's confessing his feelings for Elsa in the presence of his worst enemy but I love the delivery nevertheless:

All I can say is I knew it! I called it! I knew that he would be involved somehow! There was too much indication as well as Elsa was locked up because of fear. Fear will be your enemy in the first movie so like come on! I am not surprised that this was the scene that started it all. Now we just have to see how this goes through...

oh oh what Jack been doing to the Council has nipped him in the butt. Though I think Pitch is lying here. I do think that he has been sucking power from Elsa for YEARS and will not let her go easily. I think the Council and her father and many other ways was how he got that power. Having Jack deal with the Council took away Pitch power from Elsa. That is why he showed up. Not because Jack been using fear, but because fear has changed away from Elsa. So of course he must come find out why... If it was the council why did he not go see the council. Instead he is here. IN ELSA BEDROOM NOT INVITED. Which is what fear does. Elsa is the prize.

Why did Pitch choose a figurine of Elsa and Jack dancing and deliberately destroys Jack but leave Elsa alone by any chance? Poor shepherd boys and farm boys usually are the salt of the earth, if they have good characters they are good uns.

Jack: I need to protect Elsa and therefore I need to keep her safe and I don't want to scare her even more so I need to keep Pitch under wraps.
Elsa: Jack is keeping secrets. Does he now like me anymore? Has he changed his mind? Fear builds.

Yea he does not love Elsa, he desires to control and consume her. He wants to possess Elsa, not lover her. Fear and Love.

I think Pitch may be telling the truth here. It would make sense Elsa is still mortal. It make sense that she has not passed quite yet. I think that is what will happen at the big battle of the end that she becomes immortal. Though this is something Jack needs to work through. I do believe he would be faithful till the end.

lol she is a lady Pitch not a man, I think she would have much sympathy for another lady I would think, but she needs to learn to hold her power of love and live in it, and not the fear that has been hounding her all her life.

Pitch will try to win Elsa just to win, not to love or cherish her. She is just the prize.

oh the turn around, the come back. She knows the touch of Jack. The touch of his magic, and it calms her. and you got NOTHING ON THAT PITCH. your move!

Okay but when I saw this notification I got so happy, I just want you to know how much this story affects everyone who reads it and how grateful we are for it.

On a side note I don't know if you ever listen to music well writing, (I find that it helps me personally) but I found a few songs that just fit Ice Alliance perfectly.
