A beautiful piece, I loved how it ended on a sad, disillusioned note, and yet you get the feeling that he *could* had done something to turn the tables around, but chose not to.

Fantastically angsty. Love the last line especially: "You wouldn't even has me as your whore!" Intense.

The last bit was really sad...sigh. Poor Eponine. How many times have I said "Poor Eponine"?

But I really liked your half-crazed Eponine. Well-written! It got the emotions across really well, especially what Marius felt

Oh, shucks. This is what I get for reading angsty fanfiction while I'm in a terrible mood. It made me cry. Which means an A in my book...

Wow, what a great story! Eponine and Marius were so wonderfully in character. You are a very good writer and show a lot of control in your ideas.

I liked the bleakness. I don't think it would have been nearly as satisfying had they had some random, fanbrat-induced makeout session on the sofa. Congrats for staying true to the canon!

I like it how you describe everything, especially Eponine's situation and her reltionship to her family and to Marius (it's like I imagine it, too!)!

Eponine is my all favourite character and I love fanfics about her (not all fanfics though) and I have to pay you a great compliment for this one is really successed (in my eyes *lol*)!

Demmed good! I'm glad you didn't turn it into another of those stupid "Eponine-gets-the-guy-and-lives-happily-ever-after" things. You've really got the characterization down. Hope you keep writing :)

I'm pleased to see that you didn't romanticize the relationship between Eponine and Marius. He pities her a little, but they aren't even friends, much less is there any possibility that he would fall in love with her. Very true to the book. Good work.
