Another good chapter with some interesting discussions present. It was neat to see Azazel actually get to fight Vali and I can't wait to see how Shirou deals with the descendants of Arthur in this world. I especially can't wait to see him interact with Le Fay, and realize these two are also descended from her as well.

As for other reviews, I actually enjoy the fact that you didn't just kill off Vali. One, Vali is a good character who I feel would be remiss to remove him. Second, you've had Shirou deal with two villains, straight up killing one of them, by himself. Having him just kill Vali, an especially powerful being, like that would be a bad choice. You'd kinda make the other characters moot at that point. SO I'm happy SHirou isn't just going to take care of every villain by himself.

I hope the next chapter isn’t all about them escaping do you think a shirou who lives artoria will ever allow her most precious companion to be wielded by evil, or people who wish to use it for their own personal means whereas it was meant for he use of a country, ohhh man Arthur made the wrong move, of shirou stops attaching because of azazeal I will be pissed, he won’t allow them to escape he will open his realm if he has too you forget that even if sirzechs goes into his absolute form, if shirou opens up his reality marble then it’s game over for sirzechs how many’s holy swords of A ranking calibur can he block 100, 1000, 10000 he’s will also die before him. I think shirou should finally become outraged with Arthur and Vali and even azazeal as he didn’t tell him about this. Hopefully there’s a good couple of chapters worth of fight coming up.

Rather than Caliburn, I would’ve gone with Excalibur Galatine... it would make the claim TECHNICALLY accurate.

First chapter of 2020 and it's a cliffhanger...damn youuuu

The whole rationale and mindset of the actions of Vali from Azazel and Shirou, two people who actually knows him, thinking about his actions was great and really feels that these two people understand him and adds a certain foreshadowing for Vali's actions in the future.

Oooooh and Arthur has arrived and I hope we get a good payoff for the stuff you foreshadowed previously, and not just devolve to the whole "you are no Arturia you don't deserve blah blah blah". Still Arthur's swords are still pretty BS a space rending, portal opening and holy laser firing one and another that could "rule" over anything and up to and including monsters like Fenrir

Overall while the chapter itself good I feel like it's incomplete not short but incomplete, it felt more like a one scene in a chapter instead of one. Then again it is written like a web updated book instead of a typical one so it's fine.

P.S. Avalon can't be traced by Shirou post HGW, not only does it work with only Saber's mana but according to nasu Shirou would lose the "image" of Avalon the moment that loses his contact with Saber and with enough time it would "go back to the earth"
