Great chapter. I loved the part where Dwalin and Liv danced and sneaked out for a bit and kissed. So sweet! My favorites lines is when Dwalin said "If there is any talk, it will only be that I am the luckiest dwarf in the Mountain" and "You are the brightest jewel in all the Seven Kingdoms." Wow! I never knew Dwalin can be so charming. Awesome job!

I just love how Balin is so happy for his brother. It would be like Fili being happy that Kili found someone to love him truly. Awwww. Brotherly love is so sweet.

That was one hot smoochie scene there Dwalin, all fancied up and kissing girls...what's next? MARRIAGE? ha ha.

First of all, I was so wrapped up in the story that I compleetly forgot that Thorin and boys died and when he said that they all came to the mountain for Thorin, I was like 'awwwww, now I am sad'.

But oh boy, I ended the chapter happy! Dwalin is so sweet and I love how he teases. He is worried he is an old man huh? Hey, it is not the age...it is the mileage they say. ha ha. But in Dwalin's case maybe he has more miles than years on him. ha ha.

Loved how he let her figure out his age but then confessed he knew hers because he asked. Love a snoopy suitor. ha ha.

That was some kiss there ax boy! I think some little healer wants MORE. ha ha.

Dwalin has it bad! I loved that Dwalin rode all the way to Dale from Erebor just to make sure Liv was protected. My favorite part was when he said to Bard "she is more valuable to us" but he's really saying more valuable to him. I thought it was funny Bard was teasing Dwalin. Even he could see that there's something going on between them. Good job!

I am confused on the timeline here. Four years after BOTFA and Bard is King of Dale but Bain is just now being born? Are we cannon or AU in this story? And why would Liv know more of birthing a breach babe than three midwives of men? She would no doubt be an expert on dwarven births but being from the Iron hills is stands to reason she would know little of the ways of men.

Oh how things are heating up! I quite enjoyed this chapter. Awesome work! Can't wait for more :D

That was so sweet that Dwalin came down to 'protect' her. ha ha, he was probably protecting his 'investment'...having already put in a lot of heart time with her. ha ha.

Loved the whole teasing thing with Bard, oh you foolish man, you do not often poke the bear and live to tell the tale. ha ha. Such a couple of cutie pies, those two - so in love and we ALL know it. Cats out of the bag now, Dwalin...whatcha gunna do?
