I'm enjoying your writing style and description of how the wardens live, but struggling to accept the idea of Belegwen having lived for several millenia! It might just be me but i feel like a few thousand years would be much more realistic

I have never read a more detailed and well-written fan fiction with an OC!
This is incredible, the writing style, the characters, even the non-canon events...WOW! This will not be long away from my Favorites page!

Your story was wonderful! I like the way you wrote Haldir and your OC Belegwen was a nice character; strong, independent but also with her own hidden insecurities and wounds of the past. Their relationship was fascinating to read as it changed with time and with the revelation of Haldir's secret. Of course I am very happy you didn't let him die at Helm's Deep. Rumil was my favorite character, from the supportive ones and Orophin's role was touching. All the others, either cannon or OCs that surrounded the couple, contributed to the plot perfectly. The epilogue with the reunion of all the families and everyone's 'happily ever after' was awesome!

Oh my gosh. I haven't read a fanfic in years and picked this one up on a whim- oh my gosh. It's all I can say. I adored every minute of this and have read non-stop since I found it. You spun a beautiful tale, I loved the characters and the intricate storyline and how well it was all woven and tied together. And that ending! My heart is full. I am happy. Thank you for this amazing piece.

What a beautiful ending, it was the beginning of a new life. I don't know what to say. Orophin accepting and realising that he is loved, brought me nearly to tears. He also found love! (oh well, nearly there.)
Belegenna sounds like a sweet elfling, and Halendil will most likely be a protective older brother.
I'm glad to see the end of Belegwen's tale, to see how much she has changed.
