![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter, It shows how different things are beyond the field of battle. Tywin is not waiting until the last second to act. Tywin's flipping attitude about Aelor is bound to bite him in the ass, just as it did in canon against Robb Stark. That old man thinks too much of himself and that will see him suffering. I have always believed that Tywin gets all this hype about him but while he surely is a great administrator and plotter, when it comes to war he is not the ultimate strategist that he believes to be. When he fought against the Reynes and Tarbecks on their rebellion he was young and due to that I believe that he was underestimated by others, something that helped him a lot a allowed him the momentum he needed to end the war hard and fast, that plus his ruthlessness is what made him so effective. However he no longer has the advantage of being underestimated, even worse he is actually underestimating others and that will lead him to his downfall (like in canon) On other topics, I can't wait to see how this goes, will Tywin's treachery succeed? Or perhaps Aelor has some spies that will help him here? Mayhaps a letter from a spider will allow him to trap the lion?. Man I can't wait for the next chapter, It will be great, as always great quality, very awesome writing :) Keep up the good work this is definitely becoming one of the best Asoiaf stories out there if it isn't one already :D , by the way thanks for acknowledging us, the reviewers before the chapters, it is really great to see that our thoughts and opinions really interest you and that you truly care for them :) That's Awesome :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh! That was a chapter. Tywin is doing a sack of Kings Landing early depending if Aelor stops it somehow. If Kings landing is taken hopefully Elia and her children get out safely. With the Lannisters now siding with Robert the war is getting worse for Aelor. Both sides are equally matched. Aelor may have more men but Robert has more skilled generals. Having more generals doesn't mean he has the best of all. Depending if Aelor can figure out what Tywin plans he'll try and stop it which will give Robert a chance to escape. ...Oh god...If Aeys dies then Rhaegar will be king...The thought doesn't fell right. Anyway the only kingdom that hasn't picked a side are the Greyjoys. If Aelor can get the Greyjoys on his side then they could attack the Westerlands like in the their Rebellion. Balon's father if I remember is more open minded, so its possible. As always keep up the awesome work and stay classy! XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Tywin never liked him he was a right joy bastard |
![]() ![]() If Robert regroups with Ned Stark and Jon Arryn, Aelor will need Rhaegar's help to defeat them. Robert with the remains of the Stormland army, the Vale, the North and the Riverlords against the Crownlands, Dornish and Reach along with some royalist Houses from kingdoms on the rebel side, armies under Rhaegar and Aelor at the Battle of the Trident. Robert had sworn to wipe out the Targaryen line, he began by slaying Rhaegar in combat. It caused a great discontent among the royalist forces and that is where Aelor comes in, a young Targaryen Prince facing down Robert, fighting like Thorin vs Azog on the Hobbit and finally when Robert gained the upper hand and was about to deliver the killing blow, Aelor dives in and stabs his sword in Robert's heart. The Kingsguard Jonothor Darry and Prince Lewyn Martell are killed, Oberyn avenges his uncle's death by killing Lyn Corbray and leading the Dornish line, Aelor rallies the royalist forces and leads them to victory. |
![]() ![]() Well it would be brilliant if he could get some information on his enemies from the prisoners. |
![]() ![]() I would like for the babes and Elia to live, so I cross my fingers but I won't hold to hope. |
![]() ![]() I like that Aelor isn't a fool, and he sees the way the winds are changing for the Dragons. A marriage to Catelyn couldn't hurt, unless it turns into another Red Wedding. |
![]() ![]() Amazing chapter! I love how you write Elia. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing chapter. You have managed to give a very realistic touch to the story. Looking forward to Aelor and Oberyn. They will be unstoppable. Hope you will make Robert 'The Whoremonger' suffer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think Aelor's imperfections are what I like best about him. In a way, he and Aelor are truly a match for each other - that's, not tried, not seasoned, and stricken with a mighty blow of reality pretty fast. It's interesting how Elia's trust in Rhaegar is diminishing while her trust in Aelor - and Ser Manfred - grows. Rhaegar won't get a very amiable welcome, I fear (not!) Ser Manfred is a great addition. A humorous note in a rather dark story. Nice touch! |
![]() ![]() I do like the fact that Aelor is closer to ellia and her children than the waste of space Rhaegar is hell I wouldn't be suprised if little Rhaenys called Aelor father Also I just thought of something when Aelor wins the war ( which I'm praying you have him do ive seen enough story's about a Oc Targ around during the civil war then living in exile before coming back I'd rather see Aelor win the war for the dragons ) little finger won't be able to rise to fame as the only reason he got as powerful as he did was because of Jon Aryn and there's no way Aelor would name jon Aryn hand of the king so in this universe Petyr gets to live his life as a small Lord of no importance Lastly have you considerd Aelor finding the White Dragon egg and hatching it and have him do this say before the shows/Books start Anyway great chapter loved Ellias little bit hope the people start praising Aelor as a Hero and see him as a better Prince than his brother and hope you update soon |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sup! Awesome story! Very interesting character you have. He has good commanding skills but isn't perfect. I think he is learning from his mistakes. Robert is surrounded by Aelor, Mace, Oberyn, and Randyll have him trapped in the Stormlands. Robert's best bet is tricking Mace or Aelor somehow. I like the Elia scene's and her thinking of Aelor. Aelor seems to me more of a parent than Rhaegar is and a husband even if they aren't in love. Even if Robert is defeated in battle and killed Aelor will still need to deal with the rebels armies of Tully, Stark, and Arryn. May not be a rebellion for Robert anymore soon but will still be a rebellion. Keep up the awesome work and stay classy! XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter as always, Barristan the Badass imparting wisdom by having Aelor recognize that a men die, that war despite what the songs led other to believe is ugly, that a setback is just that, and that the fight must continue is very well done. Aelor is being affect by war which is a nice touch, many times when a character kills for the first time he or she gets over it in like 0,5 microseconds. While moping around is no good ( it leads to angst that does nothing but hurt the story) having the character recognize the bad things is good, life is not a song, especially when living in the Asoiaf world. Aelor will grow and will become stronger, he will do no less, after all he is a Dragon :D Elia as always is lovely and enchanting, her relationship with Aelor seems to be getting deeper as time passes, even though they are not together the distance between them just seems to deepen their bond. It is as they say, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" how much fonder though I don't know. That is great, Rhaegar does not deserves Elia. I wonder what you will do with them and their relationship :) I can't wait to see the rebels get smashed now that the Dragon has awoken :D As always great chapter, not the longest chapter but your updating constantly so is ok ( though I must say each time I finished reading a chapter I can't wait for the next one, your story is addictive ;D ) I truly love the quality of your work :D . As always keep up the good work :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Seems like Aelor is getting some character development and the clash with Robert is coming up. I'm excited to see what happens. Keep up the good work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You can't win them all. Setbacks are good. You don't want your character turning into an invincible Mary Sue. It does seem Robert is outnumbered and surrounded by three armies so I have no idea how he'll get out of this, or if he will. Rhaegar is MIA and a potential wildcard at this point. I somewhat suspect he'll find a way to sabotage Aelor for prophecy reasons. |
