The whole ‘lightening the sword with seals’ thing kinda annoys me. Reducing the weight reduces the blade’s momentum, and thus power. Power and reach are the two main advantages of large weapons, so taking one away is outright bad. It’s a fairly small issue, but for some reason it just takes me right out of the story when I see such experienced characters ignoring basic physics that both should be intimately familiar with.

Overall I feel that this was a very interesting and well done story. For the positives I feel like the power scaling is done decently well. Naruto's acomplishments and feats feel fairly believable and well earned. Some of the story elements are also very unique and some of the au changes to the characters make it interesting and breaths new life into them. Your au world is what really makes the story interesting versus if it was just Naruto having Zabuza's sword. There were a few issues here and there but nothing too major. For one I don't understand why Naruto antagonizes Sasuke so often. With Naruto's shift in values I'd imagine he'd be more apathetic towards Sasuke's plight than critical of it. If often comes out as uncalled for and honestly paints Naruto in a negative light. Also, some of the character interactions and their decisions feel odd or not fleshed out such as Naruto and Temari, as well as Karin. They aren't badly written but feel incomplete or unnecessary. Also it is feasibly impossible for Kushina to have any significant impact on Itachi's ninja career but maybe this will be explained in later chapters. If you were continue writing the one critique I would give is to look at a scene and question if it progessing the story. Ask, is this developing the plot? Is this developing a character? Does this all tie together in a way that is easy to understand for the reader? Hopefully I don't sound too harsh. This is a very interesting story with new and unique ideas and is quite good. I hope you'll continue some day. Thanks for writing.
