Adored this story, you drew the characters with such depth, I felt I was on the journey with them, such a beautiful Snape, just brilliant. Fantastic plot too have not see this before and I am surprised, the way you told the story and the growth of the characters was so plausible.

got to say I can't see Snape's patronus ever changing from that doe. Even in fics where Lily is long dead and Snape has long since moved on from Lily for some other person, Snape's patronus will still be the doe.

Oh this reminds me of something like in Post Lux Tenebras, where Severus was still acknowledged as a school headmaster despite MacGonagall being the present Headmistress.
Still able to apparate inside the school or heving access to the many secret passageways…
